We got at our room it was no toilet paper

I read the reviews about ac not working properly so I made sure to ask about the ac. They assured me it was working. I left AC on Coldest setting and it never got cool. I let staff know the next day as well. Horrible sleeping experience when it’s hot. Overall the place is cool.

The air conditioning did not work. The room was hot, humid, and uncomfortable. In the morning I went to check out and was in the elevator with my luggage. The door closed, I pressed the button, and then nothing. I was trapped inside and had to call the front desk on my phone to get someone to come help me get out.

El Encanto was a wonderful stay, we were there for a wedding, from the outside you could not imagine the beauty with in, it’s rustic and beautiful and great picture ops all around the hotel, if you get the corner room it has a balcony looking out to the cathedral and wow, the rooftop bar was where the wedding took place breath taking view of the cathedral and when lit at night wow, wonderful all around, only complaints I have to give bathroom in our room had water marks on the ceilings and walls, some rooms did smell a little damp or moldy from what I was told, steak at the reception did not meet anyone’s expectations it was tough and dry could not be cut or chewed at all, other than that the rest of the food an cocktails were delicious, Hotel is very centric everything is within walking distance, plenty of delicious restaurant all around

Beautiful hotel and great staff!!

El encanto was very pleasing esthetically. It has a rustic charm to it. Staff is very young, sweet, and tried their best. Emma was very understanding and accommodating. The air conditioner was not working in my room and he did what he could to find us another room. Unfortunately, the other room had a distinctive odor of sewer and we were not able to stay there. I spoke to the Manager the following day. She seemed understanding and tried to explain. The air conditioner in our other room was not able to be repaired so we moved to a third room.

It was very pleasant. Hotel, rooftop and room was very nice and clean. Definitely will consider staying again.

Will return there for sure!!

El Encanto lives up to its name-- beyond its unparalleled location, the staff could not be more gracious and just lovely and the rooms are great. The rooftop bar *does* make for loud evenings, and the encaustic tile floors look like they could be brighter, but these are small details that did not in any way mar an excellent experience. I will definitely be back.

This hotel is in a very good location, the staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations. The hotel was clean.

Nice location, personal very friendly, food great , would be nice if the elevator connects to the floors and not only to the roof top. Nice view of the cathedral

Service almost not existing. Maintanance and cleanleness bad. 2019 all good, now completly bad.

Todo estuvo bien, excepto el tiempo de atención de la recepción, tardamos 30 minutos en salir por que no estaba en su puesto la recepcionista.

Bien ubicada, el edificio está muy interesante, habitaciones amplias sin embargo las sábanas daban picazón, las almohadas tenían mal olor entre sudor o humedad y para que salga agua caliente tienes que esperar mucho y hacer maniobras con las llaves del lavabo, en la mañana los recepcionistas nunca están y demoran en acudir al llamado

La ubicacion y la decoración es buena pero toenen pésima higiene, el dia que llegamos no tenian huespedes el hotel estaba cerrado y aun asi el baño tenía basura, la habitacion tambien tenia cosas tiradas, la atencion del personal fue muy mala , solocitamos la limpieza de la habitacion y no la realizaron. Decidieron cambiarnos de habitación lo cual agradezco pero tampoco estaba muy limpia que digamos.
