Great new hotel for city centre

Absolutely amazing hotel & service. Staff could not be more helpful. Beautiful rooms, comfiest bed i have ever slept in. Could not fault this hotel

All that you could expect from a fairly new luxury hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. Courteous and attentive staff, excellent room with balcony, well stocked bathroom amenities, and a delicious room service menu - highly recommend the club sandwich and the haggis bites. Breakfast was a final highlight before checkout. Will definitely stay again.

Staff are wonderful.

I was part of a party of four people. The parking is literally right underneath the hotel - lift straight from the car park to the reception. Food was amazing at the SUSHISAMBA & the atmosphere & views make it an extra special evening. Our rooms were beautiful. Very comfy beds & all the extras you would expect from a five star hotel. Finally, Alexander the concierge went above & beyond to help us each day with hints & tips ‘ made us feel extra special. He genuinely wanted our stay to be perfect. Huge thank you!

Amazing customer service, very helpful staff and beautiful hotel

Great location and extremely friendly staff. But…..room design was very poor. You have zero bathroom privacy. Tv was poorly positioned. Windows were so dirty I doubt they’d ever been cleaned. In the evening the top floor bar became a drunken teenager shout fest.

Top class establishment, rooms fantastic and onsite restaurants and bar classy! Couldnt say anything negative.

Can’t recommend highly enough! For the hotel, staff and all facilities. Location is also perfect for everything Edinburgh offers on the door step

It was very clean, the service was good and the rooms were nice

Lovely stay, really comfortable bed. Lovely room and facilities. We went the the W lounge twice in the afternoon it was excellent, however at night the service was very slow. The man serving us was lovely, there just didn’t seem to be enough staff. Took over 20 mins from ordering a drink to being served it and we had to chase it.

Fabulous hotel. Everything was excellent from the welcome champagne at check in to the champagne at check out! Staff were lovely and rooms fabulous. Will definitely visit again.

Was a great stay for my partners birthday. From the moment we spent in to the moment we left everything was exclusive, will definitely be my go to place to stay in Edinburgh

A Red Weather warning (danger to life) stopped us from travelling to W hotel for our special anniversary. Tried phoning hotel to explain and was told to contact Expedia. Tried contacting Expedia but unable to change or cancel booking! All our money lost! Every other organisation, theatre, train etc offered refund given the exceptional circumstances. Poor show from Expedia and W Hotel 😞
