Not really near to Al Haram, you need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach the hotel via Ajyad Street. They allowed me to early check-in since the room was ready, and love how the staff helped us during check-in. Shuttle bus is only available on shalat time from and to the hotel, they park next to the hotel building. Breakfast was okay, we can experience some local cuisine, they have good omelette actually.

The location is quite far to walk, it takes about 25 minutes to walk on hilly roads. However, this hotel has a shuttle bus option that is available free of charge from the government (the pool is across from the hotel). The duration needed to get to Kudai Bus Station which is next to Makareem Ajyad is less than 5 minutes if there is no traffic jam, continue walking to the mosque for about 300m (±10 minutes) to arrive at the courtyard. In addition to using the bus, you can use a regular taxi which is in front of the hotel, at a cost of 10SAR on weekdays and 20SAR during Ramadan yesterday. For the hotel room itself, it is very comfortable. Very friendly staff (for Saudi, this is rare, so two thumbs up for Courtyard by Marriott staff), very fast check-in and check-out process. And because it is not in a crowded area, the elevator is not a problem here. Recommended for all who intend to go to Haram to do a lot of i'tikaf.
