Good Luck trying to reach someone if needed. There's no constant front desk staff. All communication is via their app chat. Other than my unresolved maintenance issue the property is clean, quiet, nicely laid out room. Great location to shopping.

The stay was great, every part of the building that we accessed very clean (lobby, elevators, hallways, apartment) and the attached parking garage was very convenient.

We got there at 3:40, check in is at 4. There were 3 people in the lobby with us and they all were able to get into their rooms. I asked the girl at desk was snotty and rude to us. She told us they were still cleaning our room. Which, no one was in there. We had gone up and tried with the code just prior to that. The room was cleanish, but the trash can was dirty, the back splash was coated with food, and lets talk about spiders. The following morning we noticed 4 giant spiders. I know that spiders happen but there were 3 more in the bathroom. So, we left. $600+ for spiders and not clean room and 15 hrs hurt.

Very clean with all amenities included, location very close to attractions

Way to good to be true! Everything you need for extended stay. We had the two king bed rooms a long with two full bathrooms, showers only. Full kitchen, dishwasher as well as all in one washer dryer combo. All cleaning supplies given, all you need is to stock the kitchen if you need. Walking distance from grocery stores, dining and fine dinning if you wish. Bowling and other activities not far, cheap rates for Uber to get to the other attractions as well.

The building is nice, great location. A little dark and dreary but well-appointed and comfortable. As a matter of privacy I do not send pictures or image of any kind of my Drivers license or SS# over the internet. Sonder didn’t notify me until we were attempting to check in that they REQUIRE a copy of my DL. It was too late to cancel or find another place to stay. I was trapped and forced to do it, regardless of the Sonder employees on-site! I will never use Sonder again and recommend no one use them until they come up with a better way to check me in without being so invasive to my intent privacy security. They insist the information is deleted within however many hours. But after security breaches on much safer sites around the country I am very protective of my information. Sonder has no respect for that and I do NOT recommend the company or its apartment/hotels.

Perfect location for our attending a graduation event nearby. Clean apartment with new appliances and everything else. During our stay, there was construction noise in the morning. But we were notified ahead.

See my other review because Hotels.com is a mess. I stayed for one reservation for several nights and changed rooms three times, and now you’re asking me for three reviews. Ha ha, pretty funny. No desk for check-in or any help even when there was "surprise" construction that rocked the whole building for a week. The staff just disappeared. My daughter had surgery, and thank goodness for one good guy staff member who got us to a room away from all the racket. But your/their main number people called and told me I had to move. I told them no and to go figure it out.

The property is under construction and the loud noise runs from 8am until 5pm nonstop. Also during our stay the elevators were out of service for a few hours in the morning. Our apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

Not a good place to stay, none of the pictures match the property. internet didn't work for half the stay, bad phone service in the lounge, gym was closed.

Our family stayed at this property based on some of the positive reviews. Our experience was mixed. The good: the apartment was very clean, large enough for our family of six to sleep very comfortably, and was in a decent location in downtown. The bad: First, the toilet in one of the bathrooms was leaking water all over the floor. We turned off the water rather than dealing with it, but that left us with a single bathroom. Glad we had that as a fallback. Second, the WiFi never worked, despite many attempts to connect. A few times, we were able to connect, but it disconnected within minutes. Finally, the large bedroom smelled like pot for several hours as someone in the building was smoking. I get it - it’s legal in Chicago - however that doesn’t mean that my family wants to smell it. The hotel staff did little to resolve the issue other than giving us a can of aerosol air freshener. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and wouldn’t stay here again.

Very comfortable felt like my own apartment. Love the ease of access and check in process. Looking forward to staying at Sonder in the future.
