It was a 1 night romantic getaway.

Clean room with the charm of a bygone day.

Excellent stay. Friendly staff, clean room. Beds are in the soft side, but fine. In the middle of Main Street .

Loved it !

I will be back and recommend anyone to come here. The only thing I could not find was an outside place to sit and enjoy the evening. The only place I found was on a balcony in front of another room. Perhaps a place across the parking lot?

Julian is a nice little town, definitely worth the visit!

Quaint hotel located walking distance to all the restaurants and shops on main street. Has a dedicated parking lot making it convenient to spend time around town. No vending machines or room service, but there are stores nearby. Hotel is wooden 1800s style, so there are no elevators available. Room was small but clean, perfect for an overnight stay. Water, Wifi and tv worked fine. Staff was very hospitable and even helped with recommendations for stargazing at nearby locations. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely visit again. So if you're done with the fast pace of busy resorts, and want to spend some time recharging in a quiet country setting, visit Julian outside of apple picking season and enjoy a stay at the Julian Lodge.

Beautiful outside area. Indoors was unexpected, but pleasant. It felt very antique and almost Victorian inside, but still had the necessary ammenities

The lodge was great and the service was amazing!

It was a good place to stay. I was close to everything. Shops, restaurants and cafes were within walking distance only a few blocks from the lodge.

It was the most affordable option I found, and the location was perfect.

The bathroom faucet leaks and constantly drips. The air conditioner should have been on prior to us arriving. Two of the lamps in the room were unplugged. Lighting in general was poor. There was a plastic spoon left on the floor that was broken into several pieces. WiFi only works if you're in or near the hotel office.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room. It was nicely decorated with amtiques. The bathroom was very nice. Surprised there was a refrigerator and microwave. We were very happy.

Great location with parking available. Cute historic decor. Clean and comfortable. Knocked a star off because it would have been nice having more then 1 towel for a 3 night stay.

I did not get the room that I paid for. I stayed in a small room.

Staff was very welcoming & helpful (a true local) Quaint & walking distance to everything. The beds are super comfortable, slept so good. They have a good functioning TV, refrigerator and microwave. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Anything you need from an expensive hotel minus the price.

Great place to stay and unwind after a long motorcycle ride. Everything in Julian downtown is walkable from the lodge. Rooms are clean and quiet. There's a coffee machine in the lobby and water.

For the most part, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. A separate router was provided to boost the internet connection. Thank you for that! The lighting in the room did not lend itself to comfortable reading. Overall, the two night stay worked well for us. The location is only a block from Main Street and all of the great shops that make up Julian.
