The staff is super nice

This is a great hotel, quiet close to the shopping and yet very quiet. It was clean and friendly. I would stay again. It was very close to my favourite Cafe Indigo.

Right off the number 2 street car line, the hotel is in a historic section of town and easily accessible from Kagoshima Central Station. Near a shopping street and 10 minute walk from Waterfront park. Rooms were nice and a great value.

We loved our stay here. I would highly recommend the Richmond Hotel in Kagoshima!

It is good

Location is good as it’s just opposite a department store. Room & restaurant are small and as a result guests are required to queue during breakfast hours. Breakfast spread wasn’t fantastic but quality acceptable. Staff don’t really speak English so it’s hard to communicate to them. Parking is JPY 1k per night if you’re a guest at the hotel.

Though not so near to the central train station, the hotel is close to one of the airport shuttle bus stop and ferry port with quite location, clean room and nice staff.

Hotel is centrally located with payed parking adjacent. Room was manageable ;but pretty squeezed. We didn't have breakfast as it was Japanese style only.

The bed was too small for us. Service was excellent. The location was good—right across from Yamagataya department store where we had lunch. We took a street car to get to the Kagoshima Chuo train station.

The hotel is a solid choice, given the lack of 5 stars hotel in the city. Location is excellent, lots of eateries and a huge mall can be reached on foot. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, aircon works very well. Food in the hotel (breakfeast and dinner) is high quality.

Mostly excellent except for a staff who refused to help me change money (though it's quite complicated to do that but I do believe if she could be more sympathetic it would be better)

Location is easy to find just Few minutes walk from the subway. Staffs are helpful and room is clean. Breakfast is included in the price,. we have a very early fight, the breakfast voucher can redeem for meal at dinner time. I will come back and stay with this chain again.

Line was extremely long for breakfast on Sunday. The entire lobby was full of guests waiting to be seated, seems to be a combination of not enough staff cleaning up after those who left & more guests on Sunday. Waited almost half an hour to have breakfast! Otherwise the location of the hotel was excellent as well as the front desk service personnel.

Good location to be close to the harbour for taking the ferry to Yakushima

The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds. Wi-fi was great.
