Lovely rooms at a pub, 5 mins from Celtic Manor. Helpful staff, good breakfast and good setting. Will certainly return next I'm in the area.

Staff are wonderful - very friendly, attentive, and professional. I've seen lots of other reviews saying the same. Room was very pleasant, clean, and spacious. Just looks a little dated, as does the whole building. Breakfast was a good experience, with plenty of options in the continental buffet (cereals, fruit, pastries etc.) and decent cooked food. Overall a little expensive for what it is, but perfect for night's stay while working nearby. Staff were great, room and breakfast were also good.

Rooms were a bit tired, but the staff were fantastic, food and drinks were really good.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, that makes a stay mist enjoyable. Room was clean and simple but functional. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, the member of staff running it seemed a bit over busy...? Overall The New Inn hit the spot for a convenient overnight stay. It was good value and the smiling staff made it a very pleasant stay.

Easy checkin. Room looked clean apart from stains on the carpet. Daily room service & fresh towels. Convenient location for us. Would stay again. We were told breakfast was served from 8 - 10am. However on the morning we decided to take breakfast, the cereals, tea,coffee etc were cleared away by 9.30. The cooked breakfast was good but would have liked another drink after it!

Nice and simple. Room was simple with a kettle and Yorkshire tea available. Bathroom was spacious and the water was a good pressure and hot! The bed is firm so was good for the 2 nights. I prefer more support but that’s personal taste for you.

Car charger did not work during the stay which is frustrating considering I would have booked somewhere a little nicer otherwise. The room was clean and comfortable although it did smell a little stale. The full English breakfast was poor quality and I wouldn’t eat it again.

Great place to stay when working in the area

It's a lovely Inn, highly recommended, my husband and I were happy to stay there for a night during our trip from Wales, the property was recently refurbished and has everything you need for a stay, the bed was super comfortable. Our only comment for improvement would be to make water a bit hotter in the shower/bath. Thank you

Good location with plenty of parking. Good menu with large choice of food. Staff friendly and efficient
