after reading positive reviews for travelling alone with accompanying young female I was disappointed in the fact the services provided was poor. After exhausting journey to reach the hotel with the help of kind iber driver we were met with a room not yet set up for guest. No towels no toiletries. After three to four call to reception each time giving me a time to deliver the requested items they didn’t deliver. This delayed in settling in for the evening and led to missing dinner as it was too late to pick up food. The dispointing to this was also the fact the manager of the hotel who booked us in yet he didn’t have the courtesy to acknowledge and apologise for the lack of seamless service. To add to it all we were given wrong set of keys to the room which meant we weren't’ able to lock our room for safety. Calling agin to resolve this took more time and consumed all our already burned out selves

Great location in downtown Cairo. Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone for a great quality and value for money stay.

Spacious room and bathroom/shower. Good entertainment, very friendly and welcoming staff, and extremely comfortable beds. Definitely worth the price. Plus they have discounted tours available to visitors to popular sites besides the pyramids.

The rooms were clean, well-appointed and large. The hotel is central and very good value for money. The entrance and building itself, leave a fair bit to be desired but don't let that put you off.

Property excellent new renovated windows are sound proof very quite a d neat staff are perfect and helpful room service staff are great daily they are ready for room service Nariman a d I think Mohammad at reception are very cooperative the elevator is renewed and added new one. If I comeback to cairo I am sure I will stay in the same hotel near the hotel many shops and restaurants and easily you can find transportation......I fo recommend the hotel msnagement to control a pathway 1 meter wide between the street where the taxi drop you to the entrance of the hotel because it is very difficult to reach at night a d put large sign board at the entrance showing the name of the hotel

Hotel is in a prime and very convenient location, it's clean and staff are very kind and hospitable. Initially booked for 3 days but ended up extending for a total of 10. I had a very pleasant experience. Thank you to everyone at Sama! 🇨🇦

The Front Office & Housekeeping Staff are the best - hardworking, helpful, kind & cheerful.

Location is in the center of everything (shopping food)...the staff is great and helpful....

I reserved a queen bed with city view when I got there they didn’t have the room I paid for and they checked me in a 3 single bed on the side with no city view or the balcony I paid for in advance, they kept manipulating trying to convince me to get that room , I didn’t get the room and I end up leaving back to my house, when I got home I received an email saying that I was checked in even though I never checked in and they did charge me for the original room I received which It was more expensive that what they tried to offer me, they are just a bunch of scammers!

When our taxi driver couldn't find the exact location of the hotel two of the front service staff were already looking for us on the street. The whole time we were there we received amazing customer service! Breakfast was the best we had in Egypt. Great location, can be a bit noisy at night but that's normal for Cairo.

The property itself was good, but the staff was atrocious. It started off with checking in and being treated different than others being checked in. It became worse the longer we stayed one night while taking a shower. They decided to turn off the water. Then when we called to see what was going on the front desk guy whose name starts with a a said oh OK I will go turn it back on then when we ordered breakfast, they brought half of it and I had to complete. Despite us telling them we wanted room service every other day at a specific time they insisted on calling us every morning, knowing that we were up all night because of Ramadan to ask if we wanted room service. And when we had to check out because of the treatment from the staff they added insult to injury by telling us they were going to refund the unused nights as a way of saying sorry which happened to be an additional nine nights we never got the money back. We also reached out for help from Expedia and they did not help.

I enjoyed my stay at the excellent-value Sama Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and can assist you with organising your tours. They assigned me a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable guide, Nasser. The hotel is very clean and quiet and is situated in a very safe area with plentiful restaurants, cafes, eateries, and an ATM just across from the hotel.

We had booked a quad room (with four beds) for our family of four well in advance—three months before our stay—but unfortunately, our experience upon arrival fell far short of expectations. We were informed that the quad room was unavailable and were offered a triple room and a single room instead. While the triple room was acceptable, the single room was a smoking room, and the smell was overwhelming and unfit for us to stay in. We declined the single room and had to manage with just the triple room, but the hotel was unwilling to provide a rollaway bed or even an extra blanket for our family. To add to the frustration, we were still charged the quad room rate despite not receiving what we had paid for—a non-smoking quad room for our entire family. On the second night, the hotel finally moved us to a quad room, but the inconvenience and discomfort of the first night were unacceptable. For a reservation made months in advance, we expected better communication, preparation, and care from the hotel.

Nuestra estancia fue buena en general. Contratamos al hotel la recogida desde el aeropuerto, el chico que nos recogió llego una media hora después de la llegada de nuestro vuelo, y ademas nos llevo al hotel equivocado, eso si fue muy amable y luego de su error se ofreció a llevarnos al hotel correcto. Al llegar al hotel nos fue un poco difícil identificarlo por la falta de señalización adecuada, solo un pequeño poster con el nombre del hotel en el frente del edificio. La entrada del hotel tristemente esta muy sucia, para acceder al elevador se debe subir una pequeña escalera que igualmente pertenece sucia. Los elevadores del hotel son pequeños y a menudo dejaban de funcionar. La habitación era de tamaño normal pero bien equipada. El baño pequeño pero nuevo. El desayuno estaba incluido y lo llevaban cada mañana a la habitación cuando se solicitaba a la recepción. El desayuno comprendía pan, huevo hervido, verduras y yogurt. Lo mejor del hotel es su staff siempre dispuestos y atentos a resolver cualquier inquietud. En una ocasión me quede sin cambio para pagar un taxi y fueron muy amables al prestarme el dinero, que al siguiente día les repuse. El area alrededor del hotel esta llena de restaurantes y mercados locales. Creo que es un hotel para alguien familiarizado con la cultura del país, el entorno alrededor del hotel puede ser estresante para el visitante.
