This hotel is truly one of a kind! The location is amazing—set right inside a beautiful park, it feels like you're staying in the middle of nature. The hotel offers both day and night tours, which were unforgettable. We saw so many animals, including colorful macaws and even a sloth! It was such a special experience. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. If you book a mountain view or ocean view room, you're in for a treat. Just a small note: if your room isn’t one of those, you may need to walk uphill a bit to get there unless you ask for a golf cart—but it’s not a big issue, and the walk is pleasant. Everything was wonderful overall, though I did notice one girl working at the café didn’t seem not very happy. It didn’t affect our experience too much, but I hope management can work on improving customer service there. All in all, this is a peaceful, unique place to stay if you love nature and wildlife. Highly recommended!

Stayed with my family including two teen boys. The hotel was fantastic! All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We arrived over 2 hours before check-in with the hope of using the laundry facilities. Even though we were very early Jose said our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. They do not have a laundry room, but they offer laundry services. We had the laundry picked up and dropped off quite promptly. They offer a free morning nature walk through the hanging bridges and trails on the property for overnight guests. The property is amazing! We saw so much wild life from the comfort of our balcony which included a hammock chair. Pack your binoculars! Other reviews mentioned the construction. They worked during the day while we were out exploring so it didn’t bother us at all. The on site restaurant had good options at reasonable prices. We ate there twice for dinner. Breakfast was very good. The only thing they could do better is have some Salsa Lizano for breakfast! I love that stuff!

The Mountaintop is beautiful with a lot of wildlife for viewing. The free tour is excellent and well worth the early morning start.

My husband and I could not recommend this hotel more — it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room had breathtaking views that we’ll never forget. One of the highlights was the FREE guided tour, which was 100% worth it. The day before, we explored the trails and hanging bridges on our own and didn’t spot any wildlife. But on the guided tour, we saw parrots, toucans, a poison dart frog, and even three sloths — one with a baby! It was unforgettable. The bartender also deserves a shoutout — he was so kind and made the best mojitos. We genuinely looked forward to seeing him each evening. Mountain Top Park Hotel is a 10/10. We can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing place. The location. The staff. The food. The rooms. Everything is fantastic. Jose who was our tour guide for our morning and evening nature walks was amazing...it felt like we were doing the tours with a friend. Ericksen (sp?) in the restaurant was really nice and attentive. The setting was just amazing. At the top of the hill with a panoramic view of the surroundings. Our balcony looked out into the forest, and we got to watch monkeys, toucans, macaws, etc. from our window. When we travel, we always try to hit different places for variety, but I would 100% go back here. I can't recommend highly enough.

It was an amazing experience. This place is a gem in the jungle. We booked last minute and was not sure about it. But everything about the place was great. We had 360 degree views from all places, lots of animals, clean rooms and also food

The property itself was beautiful. It was unclear that our room was up 45ish steps that were uneven. This was less than ideal without warning and to move our luggage. The pull out sofa was dilapidated and it took a couple of requests to get bedding for it and a third towel even though we were clear there would be 3 people and had to pay for an extra person. 2 of 3 days we had cold showers and the breakfast was somewhat limited. The people were very nice.

The staff was fantastic! Although our initial room wasn't clean, the manager quickly upgraded us to a better one. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the free tour was amazing! Out of all the places that we traveled to in Costa Rica, this was the only place that we spotted sloths. 10/10 ☆'s would visit again.

If you are staying in the Manuel Antonio Park area, we recommend at least one night here. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR! We took a hike around the property which include an series of aerial bridges as well as trails below. During dinner we were treated to a dinner show of a troup of monkeys climbing through the treetops. As the restaurant balcony was a treetop level we had a great vantage point. And as we were heading to our room, the hotel host pointed out a sloth hanging in a tree next to the hotel (again at eye level). We have seen more wildlife in the wild in our first 6 hours here than we have the previous 10 days in Costa Rica. And we haven't even taken the FREE walking tour of the grounds yet. Has been beyond expectations!

The Mountain Top Park Hotel is great, located at the highest point of Manuel Antonio, you have a spectacular 360 view. The rooms are very clean, good size and again, have an amazing view. They have 4 pathways throughout the huge property where you can see tons of wild animals. Surprisingly, they also have 8 hanging bridges across the whole property (and I believe also ziplines). You can do a free guided tour (twice a day; 7am or 9:15am) or explore the paths and hanging bridges on your own. The guided tour was great, we saw Toucans, Capuchin monkeys, frogs and more during the 1.5 hours tour. The included breakfast is really good (fruits, cereal, juices, eggs, toast, rice & beans, sausage and more) and is from 7am to 9am. The restaurant has Happy Hour and good food but the best is the ocean view and sunset you can see from it. The staff is really friendly, helpful and striving to make your stay great. Overall a very cool experience and a very special property, that I would certainly book again.

The staff spoke English and that was very beneficial. William took great care of us getting us up and down the hill to get our shuttles. There was always someone there to help and answer questions. Can’t wait to see it when your pool is finished.

Hotel is very neat/clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We got to see sloths on the hotel property and the tour of the hotel property with the trails was very informative. Breakfast was also filling with good continental and costa rican options. The entire experience with this hotel was wonderful. Views were amazing.
