Rooms are big. Hotel and room is clean and well equipped.

This was a really cool property - clean and new. we only stayed 1 night so not sure about surrounding area.

Really nothing to complain about at all , a very comfortable hotel , beds comfy and room very clean , we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but you could buy a continental breakfast to be delivered to your room , excellent one night stay and great value for money

Excellent location in Faro, central but down a side street. Very near train and bus station. A lovely, friendly hotel. We had a room with a balcony facing the pool, it was modern and clean. The pool, although very small was enough for a dip after a day of sightseeing. It was very nice area to relax. The hotel as a whole was a peaceful place to be with friendly, helpful staff.

Awesome property, kind staff, and spacious rooms!

Well situated for access to the train station. Very friendly staff. Within walking distance of the Old Town. Beautifully designed hotel. Rooms are well equipped. Our main floor room had a private terrace. Coffee available in a ground floor area from a machine for free. Would highly recommend!

Excellent hotel and staff. Location is good, a few minutes to the marina and old town. The rooms were spacious and the kitchenette was a bonus if you wanted to make breakfast etc. staff are nice and helpful, they helped us book a private tour for 8 of us as the others were fully booked. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate was a great idea, we would usually meet up in the breakfast room and have a coffee before heading out. Would definitely recommend the Roots Hotel.

enjoyed our stay here, room very spacious and very clean.

It was close to the train & bus stations and main center. Roman Ruins & Estoi is a bus ride away. For its area convenience, it was reasonably priced. Because we’re big Americans, the room is a bit smaller for longer stays and safe wasn’t securely attached. We only stayed for 2 days so it wasn’t a big deal but just a heads up.

Nice place close to everything. No issues.

Staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. Manuel at the front desk took the time to make hiking suggestions, transportation and dining suggestions. He even helped with my weak Portuguese. Cleaning staff were constantly cleaning the breakfast, pool and lobby areas. Our room was very quiet. We would recommend staying here without reservation.
