Nice place, very good location. The kitchen house is very complete, ideal for preparing breakfast and easy meals, but the room needs some investment, like a heater (is really cold inside) and some curtains repair and replacement.

We came into town on the last bus after a wind delay for hours in Esperenza coming from PN. So it had been a long day. We were eager to rest. We rented the “little house” DO NOT DO IT! We were shown the room but open entering the sewer smell was overwhelming! Opened a window and closed the bathroom off but it was bad. There was no place to go so we stayed the night. Went on a hike in the morning but it was still there, tho not as bad, when we returned. I paid for 5 nights and stayed one. Checked out and lost $ due to no refund. Trust me, we couldn’t stay. It was that bad. Not to mention the lil house was poorly maintained, the floor flexed under our feet the bathroom was tiny and poorly maintained. The sheets were thread bare. For the same price you could do much much better. Management was not responsive. We reached out to say we were running late, not sure we’d get in before the lobby closed but never heard back. We told them about the room. The front desk (who was sweet) called the manager but nothing. Stay somewhere else. .

This hotel has very weird policy and management. The stuff tries to give you a lot of information but…they inform you that you must leave a deposit of $50, €50, or another currency in case you cause any damage—for example, if something breaks or if you stain a towel with blood or makeup. When we checked out, they accused us of breaking the front door handle, which was already in bad shape and required a lot of effort to close properly. So they kept our money to replace the lock, which I highly doubt costs even $50. They didn’t even let us speak and treated us very rudely. I wonder if there are others that had the same experience

Very basic! We were given the “tiny house” which had a very small flimsy padlock for the door when you go out but no way to lock the door while inside. The padlock was not even suitable for a suitcase. The whole “tiny house” smelt like sewer. No curtains on bathroom window. The receptionist was pleasant however.

The staff at the desk was friendly and willing to help, but the hotel had some weird management practices. For example, there is a kitchen that travelers are not allowed to use. The hotel collects a deposit of $50 in cash for "possible damage." The water faucets in the shower almost fall off from the wall, etc.

The customer service from the staff especially from Mauricio was a highlight in our stay in El Chalten. I didn’t like the fact that rooms for 3 have no privacy.

Don't stay there! I had to cancel last minute and the owner literally ghosted me as soon as I tried to get in touch about cancellation fees. Even hotels.com were never able to speak to them. Considering how bad the reviews about this place are on every website, I would avoid booking there if I were you.

The hosts were very welcoming, eager to help and a great source for local information. The breakfast was average. The mountains around El Chalten are stunning. The town and many businesses don't appear to care about appearances. The national park fee is usurious.

Front desk was nice experience, Maurizio made this place bearable. As far as amenities, we were given portable electric heater which helped, else the gas heating smelled gas and wasn’t on, we had to call Maurizio to turn it on (later we turned it off due to its smell)

A limpeza estava bem feita.
