Still a good hotel but is starting to show its age. The smokers out the front and the occasional crack head hiding behind the pillars is an uncomfortable situation for me personally. The staff are usually quite nice and appear to be hard working, and the availability to use cash at the bar is a huge bonus aswell. The hamburgers are quite nice aswell.

Always lovely when I stay here ☺️

We had a stress free experience, staff was great the room was clean and the veiw was a bonus.

Location is good, really easy to get to the riverside and with a cost effective car rental option two blocks up the road, we saved a heap by uber-ing into town from the airport and renting in the city rather than taking an airport rental car. Breakfast was really good, plentiful, fresh, absolutely worth it. The room, for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 primary aged kids) was far too small. They're simply taken a double room and chucked a bunk bed in there. For anything other than a one nighter, it's too small. no space for luggage, no space to move. The double bed was also tiny and rammed up against a wall. It is absolutely not functional as a family room. Also, we only got our beds changed and towels changed twice in a 5 night stay and one of those nights only one of the bunk bed beds was actually made. First world problems and all that but for $1000 for our 5 night stay I'd expect some better attention to service.

Definitely value for money. However just a couple of thing's. A second chair in the room. And plastic bag at the bin .

While showering the drain filled and overflowed into the bathroom. I had turn the water off before I had finished showering and get out of the shower to mop up the water before it flowed onto the carpet.

Unethical business with exploitative practices and deceitful policies

Hotel was good. Quite a few strange people in the neighbourhood

The menu hasn’t changed in years but in saying that it’s nice that it’s not full of Indian food like many other other hotels in Perth now.

This a good location in East Perth. While the rooms are on the small side, this doesn’t matter if you’re out on business or on holidays

Rooms were clean and bright. Staff friendly. Close to public transport and great walks along the river.

Always my favourite. Great price / location balance. Always happy, great staff.

What I expected as per web site.

Good location and very affordable. The lack of parking is an issue.

Quiet - Clean - Relaxing - staff were great. Wake up call was awesome with the fire alarm !!! All part of the adventure! Good hotel

We booked last minute so were glad to have a room. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. When we entered the fully mirrored elevator, someone was polishing it. (He told us it was cleaned every four hours!) It was spotless, as was everything else in the hotel. Our room was compact but had a place for everything. The staff stored our bags the next day for an indeterminate amount of time. The lobby has plenty of seating and workspace. The riverfront is 2 blocks away for strolling. We would be happy to replicate this experience in other cities.

Great for the price, not close to central city but however not far.
