The location of the apartment is in CBD, very centrally located to the malls, street malls, restaurants and public transportation - all within short walking distance. Free Trams are a few blocks away. The apartment itself is not that new as interior and furniture are quite outdated, but it is quite homey. If you want to cook a small meal, a small kitchen is available to be used with all tools and utensils, included dishwasher. Washing machine/dryer is in the premise as well included detergent, so you can wash your laundry with no worry. We stayed 10 nights in Sommerset and had received an excellent services from the staff as they were very attentive to all requests made upon. Overall is a-five star apartment that we called home for 10 nights.

recommended hotel in Melb! Somerset Hotel always in top list accommodation while in Melb. Staff are very friendly, especially the Indian and Thai women. Room size is big, you can even cook since they provide kitchen utensils etc. Location is superb, right in the downtown and tram stops. Walking distance to Flinders street Station, Bourke St Mall and Chinatown.

Recommended banget kalau ke melbourne, harga nya terjangkau,fasilitas kamar oke punya ada mesin cuci, setrika, hair dryer, alat makan dan lain-lain semua lengkap. Kamar luas muat banyak kalau buat keluarga. Lokasi strategis pinggir jalan besar deket dengan victoria market dan pusat shoping lainnya. tidak usah nyari hotel lagi udah disini aja puas banget.

很差的體驗。酒店沒有接待處，入住時要到另一間酒店check in，但那間酒店的接待處亦只是9am至6pm開放，沒有其他途徑接觸到酒店職員，即使入住後發現房間有任何問題，都不能反映。簡介寫明有洗衣機、游泳池、桑拿及健身室，但房間內的洗衣機壞掉，廚房鋅盤去水位塞掉，亦完全沒有泳池等任何酒店設施。它只是一個殘舊的單位，就像租屋一樣，很失望。

The hotel located at the central of the CBD with walking distance to several attractions. I will rate 8/10 in terms of of the stay in the hotel. However, I am very disappointed with the deposit arrangement. It is usual for the hotels to take deposit from the costumers.

Great location , just take few minutes walk to tram station. Lots of food choices around. Shopping mall, supermarket, convenient store are all just nearby.
Apartment is clean, tidy, equipped with laundry machine and dish washing machine. I recommend apartment may consider to provide a cooking pan and some simple seasoning e.g. salt and pepper, then the kitchen will be well enough for guest to have simple cook. Anyway Somerset is the great choice to stay in Melbourne especially with family! Highly recommend !

Pros: Very nice location. Spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry (even with the powder). Cons: There's no bathtub in the basic rooms. Take the deluxe room if you need one.
