The building needs a lot of updates. Some dirty spots in the room and toilet ,but ok .not big deal . Whatever when I arrived at night my room looks was dark, because the 2 main lights were burned out, I called the reception, I was told that there was no maintenance, only the next day! unbelievable, I couldn't work, I decided not to stay at the hotel.

I expected a compact basic room - that is the Ibis business model but I did not expect mold in the shower which was not fixed on request. I expected limited TV but I did not expect that half of the listed channels were showed as unavailable.
I tried the restaurant but only ate half the meal - way below the good food normally found throughout Brasil. Very disappointing - I'll look for another hotel for my next visit.

Staff were friendly and provided good service. None of the reception spoke English, but the Manager did and ensured our requirements were met. Rooms were very basic with the absolute minimum of facilities. Location is in safe area but transport is required to get to good restaurants.
