Rooms were spacious, lobby was clean and inviting. Staff were courteous and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a great selection of hot and cold items. I'd stay again if in the area.
Sadly, the pool, however inviting it looked, was not open for use. Possibly just time of year.

Very positively surprised by this hotel. The only negative aspect is the motel design which could feel unsafe to some due to the lack of an overall structure around the individual rooms. Otherwise, great place. Not luxurious, but rooms are clean, well maintained and equipped. Breakfast had a wide selection of items, more than other hotels in town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

This was the most expensive hotel during a week-long roadtrip from Vancouver to Calgary and by far the most disappointing.
Rooms are clean enough and staff is friendly, but for the price (and the Best Western brand!) we expected more. The tub in one of our rooms wasn't draining well and the Nespresso machine didn't work.
Rooms are outdated (though we noticed some rooms are being renovated) and especially the bathrooms are a little dingy. Toiletries are available but we had to ask for some items at the front desk as one of the rooms only had conditioners.
Breakfast is included and it offers the basics (eggs, cereal, coffee, toast) but quality could be improved.

Staff at the breakfast were not very friendly and I do not like having to submit a voucher before eating. This was a first to me. Rooms did not have a microwave and I had to request one. Check in staff were great though.

Property location is convenient. However, staffs not very helpful. When we requested for luggage storage cause I had a late flight on the check out day, hotel staff replied a big group is coming and no secure space for us to store our luggage, finally our luggage were placed at a public area at the hotel lobby.

Great location. Hotel is just a 12 min walk from royal oal train station and 17min walk to Metropolis Mall. We got an early check in which was highly appreciated. Breakfast was good, would have been nicer if there could be some variety in breakfast. The only thing they can improve is to have a compost bin in the breakfast area rather than everything going into the trash bin. Rooms have thin walls, we could hear staff vacuuming the floor upstairs and our for next door neighbors, we could hear everything.

Our stay at this hotel was also extremely disappointing and did not match the rating or reviews shown on Expedia. The room was small and unclean, and both the breakfast and overall service were far below expectations. I have attached a photo for your reference. This was by no means the level of quality we were led to believe we would receive.

I asked for first floor b/c of minor mobility issues. Told they were full, 2nd floor. 1 elevator NOT near my room, motel mostly empty during my 8 night stay.
My fridge was not and could not be plugged in. There was what I could only describe as a bowl of spaghetti of wires behind the desk. (It looked like a fire hazard)
They surprised me with a parking fee I was unaware of before checking in.
The TV didn’t work the first 2 days, called several times.
My family couldn’t call room to room, their house phone couldn’t be plugged in.
The breakfast was the best part of my stay.

Let me start off by saying that the staff at the front desk were absolutely amazing and always responded to any calls that we had.
Next, I am fortunate to have travelled a lot and stayed at other best Western hotels and similar ones by other hotel chains, and by far this one was the most disappointing, as it is not up to the level that it should be.
This hotel property is a three star motel at best. We stayed in the so-called newly renovated quiet area. The only thing true to that description is that it was quiet. If it was the newly renovated, then I am worried what the other rooms look like. The property is outdated and overly used with no updates. Furniture had dents and scratches with corners shipped away. Orange curtains against a window that does not open, therefore you cannot get fresh air into the room without opening the main door (and as expected other people passing bycan look into your room).
The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was weak. The bathroom and closet were too small.
Location was decent. 25 mins to central Vancouver and surrounding.
