Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel & Suites

We stayed in the King Bed room... Pro's: bed was comfortable, convenient location, easy access to vehicle parking, checking in/out very easy. Con's: the room had a bit of a smell to it (even the pillows), shower made a terribly loud squealing when using hot water, mini fridge wasnt very cold, the free breakfast was not great (eggs terrible, ham ok, pancakes good, fruit mixture not great) Overall: was an ok experience, but the smell was the reason for a 3 star rating

I payed $250.00 for the night including breakfast. The front desk, only 1 person and it took 40 minutes to check in and it was far from friendly. The room was nice and clean however the issue was in the morning for breakfast. It was disgustingly gross, eggs, from a box. Pancakes, from a box. Bacon, fake juices, bread so old you can bounce it off the ground. Fruit from a box. The coffee was ordinary. Nothing was fresh it was horrible. And I paid $250.00 dollars.

It was right next to a big shopping complex, so it’s in a pretty busy area. Plus it was very difficult to find parking as the property does not offer too many parking spots

This was my second time staying at the Best Western in Kelowna and I will definitely stay there again.

It was nothing i expected

The rooms are very nice. Good location and staff is great. Price was too. Only one of the two hot tubs was working and it was only warm and the water somewhat greasy. Nice sized pool but only 3 and a half feet all the way across.

The hotel is nice and clean. But Pub 27 is dark, smokey and smelly.

Nice beds!

The hotel is generally nice and the breakfast is great. Unfortunately, we did not get the room we booked. I had booked a king room with a sofa pull-out, but instead got a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. Since there were 4 of us, this was not ideal. I showed them that they sent me a confirmation with these details, but still told me i should have added this as a special request. After some protest, they chose not to charge me for the cot they brought to the room (with huge sheets). Overall was not a fan of how they responded to the situation and wont stay there again. I dont rhink i should have to call a place to repeat what I booked and what they.confirmed they would provide to me.

Convenient to shopping and dining. Breakfast was great. However, the property is lack of maintenance.

This hotel has always been my go to for a safe, convenient and roomy place to stay. However, I have found it slowly going downhill. This stay found the hot tub with browny in nature, main lobby coffee maker not working, ice machine not working which was needed for medical reasons, window broken outside our door, side entrance very dirty, and banged up

I opted for a break from my usual five-star hotel due to a lack of suites with a king bed. The Best Western's courtyard looked perfect for my son to play, and with a tub and pool—essentials for my family on business trips—it seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately, the hot tub and pool water were cold, and after reporting this, they said they would email the maintenance crew which I thought great. I then asked the next day if it had been fixed and the agent said yes, so we got my Son all ready to go just to find 2 out of order signs. Since I trusted the agents word, I went to check at the front desk if maybe these signs were left there by accident but sadly they weren't. The hot tub ended up being out of order for half my stay which was incredibly disappointing as it is the main reason I booked the property and would have booked elsewhere had I known. In review of other comments with the same concerns, it seems that the issues remain so while I don't write reviews due to lack of time, I thought I would give a heads-up to others in case they care about the hot tub and pool as much as I do. Prior to this issue, everything was great but with the lacking amenities, the cost isn't justified as market rate for properties without a hot tub and pool is much less per night.

Good location and pet friendly room are very spacious

It was ok the room wasent the cleanest but it was ok a bit pricey the breakfast was good tho

This is our go to place when we are visiting Kelowna. We book the King suite in the tower which has fantastic views! I also enjoy the large bath tub and the huge seating area. This hotel has the friendliest front desk staff who are available and eager to help and the pub attached to the hotel has fabulous food and great staff with a fun party vibe. Free breakfast is a great touch with loads of options. The indoor pool is massive and surrounded by large windows to bring the outside light in - lots of seating areas outside in the large court yard with beautiful trees and a large grassy area for a walk.

Enjoyed my stay.

Check in was a complete pain. The receptionist was not helpful and made excuses. Then when we got to the room the smoke alarm wouldnt stop making noise. We asked to have this fixed while we went for supper and it was not fixed by the time we got back. The receptionist made excuses for why this was not done. By this time is was quite late but we were not able to stay in this room like this so we insisted on packing up and moving rooms. Then when we checkout out the next day they charge us an extra $50. This place is terrible. Wont be staying here again!!

I dont have much to add. Although when i think about it, today March 7 was my final day. Checking out. Having breakfast early and doing paperwork for my office, i was approached by a server who said "youve been here long enough, close to an hour. We have people outside waiting for a table. We need you to leave". Then approached the table beside me which had 4 Seniors and were also asked to leave. I've never had this happen. I found it very unprofessional. As much as ive stayed at Best Western Plus over the years, it will be my last.
