Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel! Perfect for place to stay between flights.

Our first stay at the marriot at yyc. Early flight made it easier. Room unfortunately didn’t have a roll in shower but it was roomy enough for my husband’s wheelchair

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean and only a short distance from check for my flight. Couldn’t ask for more

Great stay right in the airport terminal. Would highly recommend when you need to catch an early flight.

The front desk service was excellent and the bar and restaurant were great.

Service was exceptional, and top points for cleanliness and comfort.

I have reviewed Airport Marriott in the past and if anything they are even better! THIS is my absolute favourite splurge and way to start every trip. Having all the details taken care of and just rolling into the airport is awesome. We also have started using their long term valet parking service. Maybe next trip …. I’ll plan to try the new in house spa !

Location at the airpott

We chose to stay at a hotel within walking distance of the airport since we had an early flight. This came with a hefty price premium compared to the hotel 2km away we stayed at when we arrived. (Close to 4x more expensive). We figured Marriott was a more luxurious experience and would be a treat. Our room was basically the same as the other hotel 2km away in terms of appearance. It too had a basic metal tub and flimsy shower curtains. Our bedding was nothing like I would expect from Marriott. The sheets looked like they had been run through some kinds of ironing machine crookedly and were intensely wrinkled and bleachy. My skin on my legs and arm is all red and irritated this morning. The ‘duvet’ wasn’t fully covered. It has a sheet with a lip over it and I kept getting tangled in the ‘uncovered’ part. We ordered room service and it was delivered without utensils or salad dressing. The ice machine on our floor and the floor beneath us were broken. The fridge was loud when it kicked on. At midnight there was a loud drilling sound for about 30 minutes…. Pretty disappointing considering the premium price. We did walk over to the airport with no problem.
