This hotel was very nice. I would suggest that you need taller toilet. I’m average height and my husband 6’4 and we both felt like we were sitting on the floor. Also windows need to be replace because it diminishes the view. The queen beds they offer are more like doubles. Other than that it was very nice

Great stay. Love the rooftop patio. Location is perfect. Just park your car and walk everywhere. Breakfast was good. Room clean and comfortable with a view of citadel hill.

Good hotel that is really close to the citadel. Restaurants are nearby. Carpets are a little tired but all-in-all a good spot for one night. Having parking onsite was helpful too and free breakfast (bacon and sausage extra $). Cheers

There was a noise like water running and turning off every 2 minutes - near the washroom. I let the front desk person know. May have something to do with the ice machine on the floor above

Our stay at Cambridge suites met our needs. It's located in walking distance to everything we needed for our first visit to halifax. The citadel was just minutes away as well as the halifax gardens. Just minutes away was also plenty of dining options as well as the harbourfront.
Our room was clean, the tv was large, however the bathroom felt a little bit dated.
The free breakfast was great with many options such as fresh fruit, eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, yogurt, granola, etc. Plenty of things to choose from. However my reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the upcharge at breakfast for bacon or sausage. Its not a one time charge either, its daily... I understand not wanting to have to waste meat but offer it for free or don't offer it at all in my opinion.
Overall for the price and location, I would stay here again!

We loved everything about this property. The pricing was excellent for our stay in July. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the (hot!) included breakfast was a huge bonus. There's nothing I'd improve.

Good hotel with comfortable rooms. Excellent room darkening curtains! We did ask for room cleaning one night and came back to only two bath towels for the three of us and no hand towels. Not a big deal to get more though. The breakfast was good but does not include any sausage or bacon unless you pay extra and for some reason the breakfast room is chaos. Seems like there should be enough room but both mornings it was tough to get around. They open up lots of extra seating though including a banquet room in the back of the breakfast area.
