This is an older hotel and I have stayed here before. This time was different as my sister was with me. We had two queen beds. When she got into hers, she immediately sank in the mattress. Even after being out of bed for a half an hour the mattress didn’t recover. She tried sleeping on the other side of the bed but no matter what, she ended up rolling into the giant dent in the mattress. The heating system knocked and pinged the entire night even after being unplugged. No sleep was had in this hotel. The lady that checked us out but apologized but I think we should have gotten the stay reduced or free with these major inconveniences.
The room was clean and everything else was okay!

I reserved 2 nights to use their park N fly parking (one night before flying, one night after arriving). Floors were sticky, bathrooms dirty, water from the shower was brown, when I asked for soap and shampoo since there were none in the room, I was questioned 3 times and they insisted on seeing for themselves to confirm since they didn't believe me. The hotel restaurant is open until midnight though if you go after 11PM it's only take out because they can't be bothered to clean tables and serve you plates after 11. Overall pretty poor experience. Front desk said manager would call me back next day about the situation, but of course I haven't recieved any communication from the hotel since. Only saving grace is their shuttle system was efficient.

Stay the night before flying out of Halifax airport. Price is high because they offer “free two week parking”, but I wasn’t leaving a vehicle there.

The place needs an update. Mild in bathroom, towel rack loose but room clean and in good repair. Breakfast might have been good at the beginning but lots of items missing at 8:30 am. Staff friendly.
