I have stayed here a few times. The restaurant is average, hotel staff are very helpful. They have an excellent program for parking if you are going away for up to 2 weeks. Shuttle is consistent and on time. Hotel is nice & quiet , likely because it attracts primarily travellers and not teams of kids. Room has always been very clean and comfortable. Will continue to use this hotel when traveling.

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for years and the staff and conditions have never let us down!! This year I’m here on my own because my husband can no longer travel and it was reassuring to be able to stay overnight again. Thank you !

We were pleased with everything except the dinning room lounge area. Wanted to finish off the evening with a drink and were treated with a very poor attitude and service.

It was a good stay. My second time staying at the property and will likely stay again. The only thing I didn’t like either time was the state of the bathrooms in both rooms I’ve stayed in. First time it wasn’t very clean. Second time the bathroom looked like it needed some updating.

I would love to rate anything less than terrible. Here are list of problem.
1. Every time go out their locks doesn’t work to re-enter. Need go every time front desk for activation.
2.Don’t proved extra towels when required.
3. Rooms smells bad and after requesting cleaning service for one of the room they didn’t do it.
4. Their juice doesn’t work and no alternative provided.
5.One of the room we had to checkout 1 day before and moved to somewhere else.
6. Horrible front desk and rude. When we ask all these problems they saying we are showing frustration on them.
7. Bath tub will not be drained properly.
8. I literally wasted 1100+ $ which is worthless and got very unpleasant experience during my vacation
9. I really need a discussion on it.

This is minutes away from the Airport and right off the highway. Breakfast gets busy.
Overall its fine for a short stay, but not the cleanest floors, and our bathroom door did nor shut.

Liked the staff. Both professional and friendly. Even some hints of humour. (entirely appropriate) Very helpful, with phone inquiries prior to arrival and with helping a technologically challenged oldster print (gasp) a bordering pass. Liked the shuttle service. Worked just like they said it would. And frequently. Liked the fact that the restaurant was open very late (midnight?) by Halifax standards. We arrived starving at 11:30 and were able to get a decent meal. Room was clean and bed comfy. Didn't like the toilet not working properly Didn't like the stairs. the elevator worked but halfway down the hall were 3 or 4 steps to haul luggage up and down. Not a huge problem for us but unexpected. Would be a problem for anyone with real mobility issues. Would have brought my bathing suit if I had known there were 2 pools. Indoor and outdoor. Overall it was good value for the price

It was very convenient for a midnight arrival at Halifax Airport. Check in was easy with the night auditor. Hallways are kind of grubby/worn - it is an old hotel- but the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, overall, a good experience after a very long day.

This hotel is very old. Needs torn down and rebuilt. Carpeting is atrocious. Only 1 elevator. Stairs in the middle of the hallway to rooms

stayed 2 nights, did not clean our rooms, their complementary breakfast did not have much selection, orange juice machine broke down, quest computer not working, had to get our key reprogrammed wouldn't let us into the rooms when we got back, cigarette butts laying around outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
