Over scrutinized at check-in. When the person in front of me had NOT received the same treatment at check-in right before my eyes! The hotel was undergoing extensive renovations without properly securing the working areas for security of the guests. And the Renovation was not advertised while booking. The mattress was very thin and NOT what you expect of anything that has the Hilton name beside it….disappointing. Because my children had to go back to the room to change into proper attire to walk through the renovations we arrived at the restaurant at 10:01 and they denied us service, without even offering something to take to the room. The service was extremely poor. DO NOT RECOMMEND find another place to stay!!!

Despite the property undergoing renovations, it was beyond our expectations. Only wish was that the pool was a bit bigger felt like we were to many people in the pool with just 4 adults and 3 kids.

Whenever we come to town for a holiday weekend with my family, they always have great service. The homewood suites by Hilton hotel staff at the Ajax location are kind, helpful and welcoming. My children enjoy their pool! They are currently renovating and we’re loving how it’s coming along.

Nice place. The housekeeping staff are good at their jobs. They make the rooms very comfortable

Only issue was having to constantly ask for extra towels when the staff knew how many people were in the room.

The fire alarm was going off for approximately 45 minutes which woke me up and scared my dog. When it was check time the elevator was out of service and I had to bring everything down 6 flights of stairs with my dog

The location of the property and hotel was perfect for where we wanted to be. The assigned room (410) was great and spacious. However, it also turned out to be quite noisey as it faced the 401 highway with terrible traffic both day and night. Trains coming and going again both day and night. Sleeping was almost impossible to say the least. Should we decide to return there sometime in the future, we will definitely request a room on the other side of the hotel. Hopefully, the noise from the traffic wouldn't be as loud. We were disappointed it turned out the way it did. We're older and truly enjoy spending any available time in more relaxing and quiet surroundings. This trip did not fit-the-bill in this regard, so to speak!

I didn’t expect the road noise to be that bad probably would stay here again solely for that reason everything else was good otherwise

Property was nice and close to the highway. Room was big and we loved the layout of the 2 bedroom suite. Room was fairly clean except drywall dust on lots of surfaces and dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher. Place is under Reno’s so a bit of a construction zone. Main complaint would be with the breakfast, we went down at 8:30 and food was cold/stale. Staff acted like we were inconveniencing them although we were told breakfast was open until 9:30. It’s all ready for 6:30 so if you like warm food, go early. Nice building, nice room. Would stay again because of the great layout

Hotel was under renovations so there was noise. Our room faced the 401 and there was a lot of traffic noise. Our room was clean but bedding was show its age…grey not white. The bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was not great.

Great to be near the highway, but very little around. Tiny swimming pool.

This hotel is in need of renovations. Check in was easy although we checked in late so it took a little while as it was after midnight. Our room was okay. It was good enough to crash for one night which is what we needed it for. I expected more from the hotel and think it’s a little overpriced.

Other than the current construction (which we knew about) its a greay location

The couchs and door and carpet in our room were dirty and stained.I was not impressed. There was rice stuck to the couches. We had 4 people and a baby in our room and they provided us with 3 towels and when we asked for more they said they can provide only two more. Mind you we are all girls who need towels for our hair. Breakfast was decent and the staff in the morning were delightful. The towel self in the pool was also rusted and did not look clean.

The pool was very cold, uncomfortably cold, perhaps it’s the Reno’s that were going on at the time. Other than that, the place is fine

The hotel felt like a home away from home since the room had a full sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher etc. The parking was convenient and free. Also, the daily breakfast made the stay more worthwhile and economical. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

It was a beautiful hotel it is under construction but the floor they put us on had already been renovated after we unpacked everything put all our belongings away and food I discovered the kitchen floor had water so I called the front desk the sent maintenance asap but he informed us the dishwasher was not properly installed then said they would give us another suit on another floor we had to pack everything up and move to another floor the maintenance man was very nice after we put everything in our wagon he helped us move and we went swimming and when we returned to our suit internet was out for around 45 minutes my grandson was very upset his iPad is his live But besides that the breakfast was excellent and the workers were very nice
