A nice building and friendly staff!

Great staff a pub and steakhouse in house so you dont even need to leave the building if you dont want. The mall is 5 mon walk away, secure gated parking.

Beautiful historical hotel with Winstons Pub. -Great customer service. Highly reccomend.

I would have liked more helpful staff at the front desk. I also felt unsafe eating at the pub and walking out the doors.

Love the vintage authenticity of this hotel..,being that it was built in 1907, it was in amazing shape! It felt like I had stepped into a time machine & I was just waiting to see a “flapper-girl” come around the corner…will definitely stay here again! 😃

The service is stellar. The front desk clerks are amazing. Multiple times I saw them go the extra mile. The breakfast left something to be desired. No normal sugar for the coffee. No small spoons for the yogurt. Very minimal. For the location having a top notch restaurant in the same building, I did hope for a little more. A takeout cup for our coffee would have been really nice too. The location of the breakfast room was beautiful. Our room was small but functional. The bed was a little hard and the shower taps needed an extra grip to shut off. The elevator is super slow to decide to move. I waited patiently as I was mobility impaired but my husband kept thinking it was broken. Really liked the gated parking and we felt more secure. This is the 3rd time I stayed here and I would stay again however I would stay somewhere else for a little bit better if a breakfast.

Older hotel that has lots of character. Bathrooms have been upgraded recently and staff was very nice and helpful. Location is excellent to access lots of different types of food and shopping on foot.

Make the roo.s bigger

Beautiful lobby, average room. The parking is tiny and fills up so it was a hassle. Good location for walking around downtown.

Love the building and surrounding area. The pub was a great place to spend the evenings.

Great location in downtown saskatoon. Plenty of dining options and shopping. Movie theatre is close by. Can easily walk over the bridge to other shops and dining.

It's a beautiful old property. The woodwork and old light fixtures are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating.

Hotel Senator, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - A Disappointing Stay Stayed: December 21, 2024 I booked the Hotel Senator expecting to experience a vintage property with charm and character. Unfortunately, my experience from start to finish was far from what I anticipated. Entry and Arrival The first impression of the hotel was unsettling. Homeless individuals loitering at the entrance, some using drugs, greeted us and informed us to press a bell to get in. This individual seemed to be a regular at the property, which raised safety concerns. The entrance itself had unclear instructions on how to enter, adding to the confusion. Front Desk and Check-In The front desk staff was shockingly unprofessional, wearing a baseball cap and earplugs during check-in. It did not inspire confidence in the quality of service. Additionally, the hotel charged a pre-authorization of $200 for a one-night stay—an unreasonable amount considering the lack of amenities. Room and Hallway Experience The hallway to the room smelled unpleasant, reminiscent of a funeral home. Despite the use of strong air fresheners, the odor persisted and carried into the room. The room itself had an impractical layout: • The bed was oddly positioned directly in front of the main door. • The TV was placed in a way that made it impossible to watch comfortably from the bed, with no seating area in front of it. • The fridge was oddly placed directly on the carpet. • The bathroom door lacked hooks to hang clothes, addin

The fellow at the front desk was very helpful and so obliging. A very personable guy.

It was peaceful

Great place. Close to everything. Only criticism is what they called a 'continental breakfast' was misleading as there was only fruit, yogurt, and bran muffins.
