UNDER THE PRESENT WINTER CONDITIONS WITH LOT'S OF SNOW, TWO MAJOR STORMS, THE STAFF KEPT THE ENTRANCE CLEAN. REST OF HOTEL SUPER CLEAN.
DO NOT RECYCLE WHICH IS A BIG NO NO.
HOWEVER ROOM WAS SPOPLESS AND NICE KITCHEN.

wonderfully located and very affordable, but showing age of the building. Almost too pragmatic which seems to sacrifice function over style. I would still recommend since the staff and basic infrastructure are still solid.

Second stay here. The room this time was itself pleasant and well appointed but was on a lower floor facing the parking lot and the bank of air conditioning units. As this was only for one night it was tolerable. Kept the curtains closed. If a longer stay I wouldn’t have been pleased. The checkin staff was all very friendly and accommodating except for the fellow that checked me in. No small talk, rather aggressive, didn’t ask what type of vehicle I needed to park (ended up with the tightest most awkward outdoor space for my SUV) and didn’t ask how my stay was when I checked out. Other staff were wonderful. It’s not a glamorous place but quiet and very clean. Close to the Rideau canal and good restaurants.

I loved the location. The hotel room wasn't great but not bad. The only dresser drawers for clothes were broken but no big deal to us. Difficult to navigate through weird hallways.
I chose this hotel for location and price, so im satisfied overall.

overall the stay was alright, i found the spaces in the hotel a little cramped but the room was big and clean. The door latch in my room was broken, but don't know how long it has been that way. I only stayed one night but the location and parking was what made me considered this hotel.
