Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport

Well engineered, clean and stylish

Good location on airport grounds but for the price expected better tea coffee toiletries provision etc, and bar drinks more expensive than airport prices - £7.50 a pint of standard lager. Paid a third extra to have a room for 3 (1 adult 2 children) and all they did was bring a camp bed up and pretty much wedge it between the window and double bed in a very small room. I didn't mind but they shouldn't have charged so much extra for that...

Fire Alarm went off around 02am and we were outside for about 40mins. While Guest and Staff Safety is paramount the evacuation procedures including muster points and roll call needs to be reviewed, as an EHS professional i felt the Emergency Preparedness Process needs a full review including staff training as they said they didn't know what was happening and waiting on emergency services to tell them. Staff and Guests re-entered the building on more than one occasion while waiting on emergency services to arrive. They did however give out foil blankets to guests that required them to stay warm.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, it’s very conveniently located for STN airport. I have lovely rooms & average rooms. This stay I was a little niggled about poor shower, it had been repaired with ill fitted fittings. Room looked a bit worn. Having said this staff were nice, bar/restaurant service good if a bit pricey. However location as I said is brilliant.

Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the airport and easy to find. Was a calm oasis and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were extremely quiet! Comfortable bed. The bar area was very nice, good service and a lovely ambience. The bathroom was extremely dated and not very clean.

Best night sleep I've had in ages. Wasn't expecting much with it being a one night airport stopover, but the basic double room was clean and modern, the bed was super comfy, and the air-conditioning actually worked really well and cooled the whole room nicely. William at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Overall a great night.

The restaurant was absolutely terrible the staff didn’t have a clue ordered a drink starts and main starts came then mains still no drinks !! Really bad in fact might take it further coz spoilt my start of holiday

The restaurant was an issue because it closed early so trying to eat before an early flight is a problem

Great hotel, 5 minutes walk into the airport. Very comfortable beds. Good size room. Very pleasant bar area. Food and drinks are expensive, but worth it for the lovely surroundings.

My room was fine but bathroom did not seem very clean (the toilet was stained and did not seem to have been cleaned in a while. However, the reason for the low review is that the fire alarm went off at 1:45 in the morning and we were outside for over an hour. The communication was very poor and no updates were given as to what was happening and why we were outside in the first place. When another guest inquired, staff yelled back and told us to “calm down.” Guests were not counted and no one checked to make sure everyone was outside the building. In all, it was a poor experience.

Next door to Stansted Airport so perfect for an early morning flight. Quiet and comfortable bed.

We are a family of three and love to travel around the world. We recently stayed at the Radisson Blu for one night as we were catching an early flight to Italy for our Easter break, and our experience was wonderful! Upon arrival, the friendly staff at the reception surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a family room with two connecting rooms. This generous upgrade made our stay even more enjoyable and spacious. We had a very pleasant stay and are incredibly grateful for the thoughtful gesture from the staff. It truly set the tone for our holiday. We highly recommend the Radisson Blu for anyone looking for comfort and excellent service before their travels! The only suggestion would be to have the option to book parking when booking the room. This will be perfect for those travel with children.

I had a nice comfortable and quiet room so therefore a good nights sleep. The room could have been cleaner, bathroom mirrors were missed by cleaning staff also sticky ring marks on furniture. The bar service was good although a small glass of wine and a portion of fries in a basket (no plate offered or napkins) £17 thought rather pricey! Morning alarm call was prompt and helpful at 5am request. I did not use the spa facilities but I would choose to stay again and allow time to use the swimming pool and Sauna. Super convenient by such a short walk to departures.
