Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester, Airport

Very well placed hotel, close to departures. Lovely to relax for the night, instead of rushing to airport for a 6am flight.

Great for airport stay

When we checked in at around 7.20am on 15/09/25 we mentioned to reception that we should originally have checked in the evening before, but we had spent over 12 hours stuck at Palma airport as our flight departed 9.5 hours late. They agreed for us to check out at 1pm instead of the normal checkout time of 12pm, which we appreciated. We were very hungry and tired and after having a quick breakfast at the hotel we returned to the room for some much needed rest. I made sure to put the 'do not disturb' hanger on the outside of the room door as we were both incredibly sleep-deprived at this point. At 10.30am there was continuous knocking on the door. I went to see what the problem was and was asked sternly by housekeeping what time we would be vacating the room. Afterwards I could not get back to sleep and felt very unsettled as if we were in the way. We paid a lot of money to be able to rest in a room before continuing the next leg of our journey, but got interrupted trying to do so. I am beyond annoyed as it was really the last thing we needed after spending a night awake in an airport until our delayed 7.35pm flight set off at 5.00am the next day. Guests shouldn't be interrupted at 10.30am to ask when they are leaving, and even more so when the 'do not disturb' sign is in place. I do not expect to receive such treatment at a hotel used by tired travellers but it would not be okay at any hotel to be honest.

Room was good fit for purpose however neither safety deposit box nor telephone worked The bar was dirty and tables not cleared The college restaurant was absolutely appalling literally every table around us had due cause to complain service was unwelcoming and process chaotic

Always the hotel to stay in when flying from Manchester

Location to airport is excellent but other than I don’t think it’s worth the money as the condition of the place is poor.

The rooms look modern on 1st Impression but on closer look bathroom a bit dated and I would expect usb phone sockets refreshment tray was very limited and we didn’t book the cheapest standard room . The drinks in the bar very expensive and food menu limited

Very efficient staff and very friendly. Breakfast was very good as well. No fault with anything

It was just an overnight stay before we flew out, we got a good deal on the hotel but everything was expensive in there even down to a chocolate bar like a snickers which was about £3

Very convenient to the Manchester airport, as it is about a 10-minute walk within the airport terminal via a sky-link. There could be better signage at the airport directing the way to the hotel from the airport. There was only one sign with direction to the hotel that we luckily saw as it was hidden behind a pillar. The air conditioning was lacking, and our room did not get cold despite multiple attempts to lower the temperature on the thermostat. Our friends who had a separate room had the same complaint and reported it to the front desk. As we were only staying at this hotel one night, we did not ask for a room change.

The service, as always, was first class but the hotel is looking very tired. It is extremely conveniently located, given that you are so close to terminal 2 and just a few minutes from terminal 1, both of which can be got to via the internal walkways. The standard is no up to that of other Radisson hotels I have stayed in. The corridors look as though they could do with a redecorate for example.
