Novotel Nuernberg Centre Ville

This was a great hotel for us to stay in while traveling in Nuremberg. Very close and walkable to the Old Town and Train Station (5 minutes). Our room had nice air conditioning, comfortable bed and pillows. The room was very well stocked with toiletries and makeup mirror. Don’t miss the heated bathroom floors! We even had a pool and sauna to enjoy. Breakfast was wonderful! Cheeses, meats, bacon, sausages,eggs and of course Germany’s wonderful breads and jams. We are very happy that we chose this hotel for our stay.

I usually enjoy staying at Novotel hotels, but unfortunately my experience in Nuremberg was far from what I expected. The room was in poor condition — the shower was broken and made using it very inconvenient. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel, making it hard to get any rest.

Stuff can be more nice

Great price/location if you want to save and still have access to downtown. Pool and sauna were exceptional, especially after a long day of travel. The only wrinkle was parking. The lot is an underground garage with easy access and decently large spaces, but it doesn't accept credit cards. There is also not an ATM on site, prompting a thirty minute scavenger hunt throughout the train station. Come to find out, you can pay your ticket at the hotel reception with credit card. This isn't clearly marked with signage or mentioned by staff, so be sure to keep it in mind. Would be 5 stars otherwise. Also, FYSA there was consistently a modicum of human feces and vomit in the immediate area (which was otherwise nice). Oddly, this seemed consistent with the rest of the city, which was otherwise very well kept. Don't let it keep you from Nürnberg, just watch your step and small kids.

Great location - bus, tram and train access within 5 minutes. Good restaurants down by the old town. Can walk to the castle and old town within 20 minutes. Great spot. Definitely some transient population around as you're at a transit hub but as long as you're back before dark it was super safe.

Excellent room and the hotel stays close to tourist points

We had a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the location was close to walk the altstadt. The restaurant and bar provided great food and drinks. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

I requested a quiet room but was given one facing the main street. When I asked to change rooms, I was told everything was fully booked — even though the hotel appeared nearly empty, which made me seriously doubt the truth of that claim. The internet didn’t work at all during my entire two-day stay, despite repeated attempts to connect. Overall, it was a terrible experience: I couldn’t sleep properly, and I wasn’t able to get any work done as planned. I strongly recommend choosing any other nearby hotel instead.

The location of the hotel was close to central station and the old town , breakfast was very good with wide variety despite being Easter bank holiday and full of kids on half term

Was in room 401 and the free wifi did not work in that room. I was traveling internationally and had to pay a lot of money for additional data. I was unable to get compensation for it from Novotel Nuernberg. Other than that, everything else was flawless. Staff were friendly and helpful, location is very close to Hbf, and rooms are solid.

I was expecting more of a 4 star hotel.

Convenient place from train station

Nice rooms, friendly staff, great bar with outstanding pizza- this is definitely our go-to hotel in Nuremberg.

All was fine until i had to wait on line for check out

Great motel. Very clean and warm. Staff were helpful, great amenities and good location. Awesome breakfast.
