I have heard that some rooms are noisy since it’s next to train station. Our room was quiet and no noise even with the windows open. There is no air con in rooms but they give you a fan. There’s not much other amenities but we didn’t mind. Staff was very helpful and gave us a map around the place with marked spots to visit. Good experience!

Lovely 2 night stay in Lindau. The hotel was perfectly located. Staff in the hotel were all very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice. Room allocated was a good size for a single occupant.

Lindau is one of the most beautiful places I know, and Vis-à-Vis a superb place to discover it. Vis-à-Vis is "opposite" the station and a couple of steps from the Lake front. There is private parking, but it's a tight fit. WiFi is acceptable but definitely needs upgrading/modernising to respond to the need for video calls to family and friends. Breakfast is first rate and you can eat it outside, watching Lindau wake up and the first travellers arriving by train. I arrived on the hottest afternoon with my dog and the receptionist immediately fetched my four-footed companion a bowl of water. Can't say fairer than that! VIELEN DANK! Ich komme wieder!

Especially handy if arriving by train as the hotel is located immediately outside the station. Less than a minute away is the harbour. Everyone I had dealings with was faultless. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

easy access, great breakfast, and location to local attractions were great! the only issue i had was that we were put in a room on the second floor at the far end of the building. it did not appear that the hotel was heavily occupied so the choice of rooms seemed unnecessary.

We arrived on a Sunday driving our hired VW california campervan and found the area surrounding the hotel very busy, with nowhere to park on the street. Fortunately the hotel has its own parking area available immediately behind the hotel. A big bonus on the island of Lindau, as there is little parking available, especially on weekends.
