City Center Hotel

Great location but the town parties ALL NIGHT LONG right outside our window.

We had a lovely spacious room which was very clean. Situated in an area with lots of restaurants and bars and not far from the sights.

Great experience, right on the Main Street of town and convenient to both bus stops #1 and #3. Everything is walkable when it comes to food/drinks, shopping, transportation pickup/drop off for site seeing. Deep cleanliness is give a 3/5 but everything is very neat and overall a solid 4/5 since a maid comes in and straightens up every day.

Fanbulous hotel roght in the heart of town. Easy walk to resaurants abd soghtseeing bus stops.

This hotel is located directly across the street from a night club that operates til 6am Friday and Saturday and a building that’s being built/rebuilt/remodeled Monday-Friday, and it doesn’t look to be finished in the near future. The place was clean and the front desk attendant we had was great, but I honestly would not stay here again. If you’re in Reykjavík to party all night and wake up straight away in the morning, this is the place for you. If you’re here for relaxation in any type of way, or you just like to sleep in the hours of a normal person, stay away, far away. I know this is not the fault of the hotel. But the transparency of this hotel to not provide such information is not acceptable. What they do provide is little ear plugs on your pillow, as if to say haha it’s going to be loud, sorry. We are so glad to have only booked two nights here and our last two nights somewhere else. We would’ve left anyways and forfeited the loss.

Great location near lots of restaurants, shops and bus stops. Staff were really friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade on the fourth floor when we arrived which was really appreciated! Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Some nights were quite loud from nearby bars/clubs but we were so tired from tours in the day that we slept really well anyway

Location cant be beat. Staff was variable, some great some not so

This place was absolutely adorable, I love the decorations and I met the owner who was super sweet. It’s a great location. I would stay here again in the summer. The location is amazing.

Beautiful lobby, clean hotel

Such a great stay in the heart of Reykjavik. Rooms were great and comfortable and a short walk to everything around it. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again the next time we come.

location was good. Desk staff very good. Arrived with no drinks (tea, coffee, milk etc) in room. Radiator did not work and was obviously known as an elecric one was in room. Window was drafty

This hotel is perfect! It’s in the middle of everything! Lots of restaurants and bars around it, clubs, coffee shops, bus stops, ice skating rink, etc. Some of the reviews complained about how loud it gets on the weekend and it was pretty loud but they provide ear plugs and I was on the back side of the hotel so I had no trouble sleeping. The decor is really cute as well!
