The room does not match the photo. We were given a standard room even though we paid for a room type above standard. The reason the staff gave was that the room had been given to someone else. It smelled of urine.

Meskipun bukan hotel bintang 5, tapi recommended banget untuk vacation. Lokasinya juga strategis. Di samping hotel terdapat Cafe yang juga sediain voucher untuk internetan (maklum di Merauke lagi ngga ada kerusakan jaringan). Sarapan paginya juga lumayan, di sini saya bisa nyobain masakan daging rusa khas Merauke. Minusnya cuma satu, kenapa KTP asli mesti ditahan sih sebagai jaminan?

The mattress was moldy, the cot was almost broken, going into the room through a narrow hallway plus passing the laundry and paying 552 thousand wasn't worth it.

The rooms are like boarding rooms, minimal facilities. Then the bathroom smells. For a standard room, the entrance is through a very narrow hallway.

The place is nice, comfortable and clean, I've stayed 4 nights. Even all the rooms from the price of 750, 550 and 350 are all nice and clean. Near everywhere. Good service, delicious breakfast. Anyway, I don't regret staying at Grand Mandala, you have to try it if you haven't been here yet.
