Friendly staff, nice place, okay facilities, lots of breakfast choices, but why is it that most of the bottled water in hotels in Balikpapan is always refillable? Because at Royal, they also refill water, and until now I'm still looking for the answer (besides saving money, right?)

Every time I go to Balikpapan, this hotel is always a comfortable choice for accommodation, family friendly and easy access, but the sleeping area needs to be renovated, the mattress is already thin.

When I entered the room, it was cool, clean, bright, and fragrant.
It was a comfortable stay.
It was a bit tricky to find the parking lot, which was full (due to the public holiday), but the staff helped me out.
