My first time staying in Simpang Lima Residence which was pretty good. Located nearby Simpang Lima junction, so you don't need to be worried when you're craving for some food. The staffs were friendly. Checkin and checkout time were quick. It's worth for the price too. They had a cool coffee, but I didn't try food and beverages yet. Maybe next time.

I like this hotel, room quality good and strategically located near Simpang Lima Semarang. They provide 5 times free drinks for coffee or tea. Helpful receptionist, many benefits gained when you stay there. Recommended budget hotel.

It's a great place to stay, especially if you travel a lot because it's near Simpang Lima (many delicious food). You must try soto kudus. M. Lin, and es puter conglik in front of hotel. Taxi or Grab is fast and easy to get.

The room smelled musty because it was in the basement, had a lot of moss, and needed to be renovated. The sheets were also damp. Luckily, the staff was friendly and the restaurant had delicious food.

The hotel is located close to the city center, so you can just walk. The room's AC is cold, the shower has a water heater, the staff is very helpful. The room may be a bit dark because the yellow lights make it seem less bright. Overall, it's okay.

Damn full of facilities for the price. It's rare to get a mini fridge at this price, not when you also get a room this big. You also get welcome drink to add the daily free water. Lots and lots of power socket, you won't be out of it. I count at least 5: 1 on the side table with mirror (with lights!), 1 on the main table (with a chair) near another mirror (with lights, too!), 1 on each bed side, and 1 used by the night light. There's a connecting door so if you rent two rooms you can have a very big one. I don't use the TV so I can't comment on that. The sofa with table is comfy. And oh, they also have 24 hour cafe ready to serve.
There are only two problems:
- Wifi: 3 access points, none are reliable. They both come and go and even when they come, you can enjoy great speeds for only a couple of seconds.
- AC: They use central AC and while it can keep the room dry, the temperature is not low enough to my liking. Not sure if temperature control is working (the dial can reach below 10°C, but the thermometer beside says the room is around 27°C only), but the fan does, and I need to set the fan to max in order not to sweat, with a consequence of damn loud noise.
