We needed a quick and easy stop for a Shinkansen layover and this was perfect. We were traveling with 6 in our family and so we got 3 rooms so the kids could have their own beds. The service staff was impeccable. The room is small (compared to American standards) but the room felt perfect for sleeping overnight.

Right opposite Dentetsu station which was perfect to get to after we did Alpen-route from Oginawa direction. Stayed 3 nights used hotel as a base for that plus to go to Kanazawa (20 mins by train), & Fukui (45 mins by train) to Dinosaur museum & also look around Toyama itself rather than drag our bags from hotel to hotel in those places plan worked perfectly. Hotel room good as was included breakfast.

Room is very clean and size is just right. Everything provided is good. The free breakfast has good spread of Japanese food. Checking in and out is easy and fast with the machine.

Only smoking floor available room stank like an old pub. Staff were nice enough, housekeeping were great tried to do lots to redite the small no luck.

The free included breakfast makes up for the self-serve toiletry pickup from the lobby. The bed and pillow are a bit harder than other hotels I stayed in Japan. It could be good for some people like me.

One of those clean no frills hotel but within short walking distance to Toyama station. Perfectly located for those who are dropping by Toyama before or after the Kurobe Alpine Route trip.
The breakfast is pretty good too considering the price and what you get. Convenience store located within 50m.

Convenience is the reason I booked this hotel. The room is adequate and they stored our luggage as we got there early.
As this hotel consists of mainly Asian tourists when we were there and many were Toyoko Inn Club members who were given first priority to check in at 3pm. As most hotels I booked have check in at 3pm, I have not read that booking with Expedia have check in at 4pm.
There were lots of choices for Japanese breakfast and very limited breakfast choice for non Japanese food breakfast eaters - no cereals, no fruit. Just white bread, mini pancakes and mini croissants.
Given it's a budget hotel of sorts, the dining room resembles a cafeteria.
If you're prepared to put up with small inconvenience for a good value hotel, it's fine.

Hotel is just across the street from train station as close as you can get. Staff is very polite and nice. Breakfast is good and it can be very crowded in the morning.
Room is good size, clean and comfortable. Bed is big too. I will stay again.
