Always stay here if going to Penang for medical things. Some staffs are nice, some are not. If you want to go to the hospital from their shuttle services, especially in early morning, not recommended. We have booked a night earlier yet it was late by 1 hour. However, the surroundings are nice. Close to reflexology, pharmacy, and food stalls.

The location is okay, close to China Town, Cowrasta Market (one of the souvenir areas). Near Paranginan Mall.
Then if you are looking for food, it's really easy, exit the hotel, turn left for 3 minutes to Jalan Macalister, you will find lots of places to eat and snacks.

During my 6-day stay, it was quite memorable. Most of the staff were friendly, but the friendliest was the security guard (Mr. Upu Daeng), unfortunately he will probably not be working anymore in a few months. The surrounding environment is the best. Lots of culinary, walking to Prangin Mall, 1st Avenue Mall & Gama Supermarket is about 10-12 minutes. The AC in the room was a bit cold. Breakfast was decent, just a bit less varied. Next time I go to Penang again, this Sentral Georgetown Hotel will definitely be my first choice.
