This hotel was brilliant for a stop over for us. Great staff, clean spacious room, lovely reception area. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and the food in the restaurant was first class. We would defiantly stay here again. It was such a nice touch having fruit and water in the reception area,

We loved the hotel, it had everything we needed, and the kids absolute loved the pool. We used the pool twice, once as we arrived and once in the morning before we left. The beds were comfy and we had a balcony. Loved it. Walking distance to the centre, but we drove as our kids were tired.

The hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable for 3 adults. Only negative was in the hotel were 2 elevator but one was out of order and our room was on level 5!! It was quite busy and waiting was disappointing.

Service was hit and miss. It was very busy in the hotel, and it seems Van Der Valk is taking their clients a bit for granted these days. Forgot to clean our room and our calls gor service were ignored/forgotten several times.

We have waited fir 1:15 minutes for our food. They didnt even ask us if we are okay we jyst waited and waited but they forgot our order.
Its not nice . But then it arrived after 1:15 minutes at least they can say to you a free drinks or something for a long wait.

The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms were large and were quite nice. Due to Covid, we needed to schedule use of the pool area. The pool and saunas were a plus to our stay. The gym however was not cleaned regularly so the machines looked dirty and the room was hot. If there was air conditioning it did not work.
Breakfast was excellent and overall the food was good. However, service was not very good and food service was not coordinated. For example, our children's food was served after ours, which is unusual and something we have not really experienced ever.... and that says something because we travel a lot and have lived on a couple of different continents.
Room service messed up our order ("lost" it) and of course those with children can imagine the types of fallout from late dinners due to mistakes in room service. Again, that made for an unpleasant experience.
However despite those gaffes, we would stay here again.
