My experience was not so good. I found the bedroom environment tired dark I couldn’t find anything. There were no sockets for the Hairdressers near the mirror. The bed was not very comfortable nor of good quality. The kettle was difficult to work. I had to ask for someone to show me how to do it the room was cold. I had to get the Instructions on how to work the heating. The room did not heat up until the next morning I had to take this plug out to put my computer in. The box with extras was not cleaned out. I definitely would not rate the hotel as five star. In my opinion it is not. The staff were helloful kind and professional.

Parking is terrible. Wait staff in restaurant were not great. Room was good, it was clean and spacious. Good location and close to quite a few attractions and tours. Overall a 4 star I would say, hotel needs a bit of an update

to begin with we stayed here via a post wedding stay in the Bushmills, and wanted to visit Belfast. One morning, my daughter did not like her breakfast, and the chef was very accommodating and made her what she wanted, which I thought was great however, during the night the pipes creak and was very scary. I thought someone was out in the hall so I locked my chain lock on my door. Finally, I was supposed to have a box breakfast to go the day I left there was no breakfast and furthermore, there was no coffee the front desk person was missing for about 10 minutes and I wanted to tell him I had pre-ordered a cab who knows where he was certainly not getting my breakfast.

Super Frühstück!!Aber das Hotel ist schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Der Abfluss im Bad funktionierte nicht richtig sowie die Türe und Fenster waren undicht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ersichtlich!

Fantastic stay, all the staff incredibly professional and approachable. Really enjoyed the small touches, coming back from a long night to the curtains pulled and robes with slippers set out on the bed with chocolates. Lovely touch. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is on the basis they should update the lift access - like many other hotels now requiring a valid hotel key card to scan and activate the lift, it’s a small detail that provides a little more reassurance especially for 2 females on a trip knowing only residents of the hotel can access room floors etc… and someone can’t just walk off the street.

We recently stayed at the Fitzwilliam and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations for a 5-star property. On arrival, our room was not ready at check-in. We were told we’d receive a call once it became available, but that call never came. When we returned around 5pm, we were informed our bags had been placed in the room, only to discover they had not as we spotted them still sitting in reception. This lack of communication was frustrating and disappointing. The only exception being Brian in the bar who was really pleasant. As an apology, we were given a voucher for two glasses of Prosecco, which felt like a token gesture rather than a genuine attempt to make up for the inconvenience. The room itself was uncomfortably hot – the air conditioning could not be adjusted, making it difficult to sleep. Adding to the discomfort, the noise at night made for a restless stay. While the hotel itself is attractive and has potential, the service and room experience were not at all reflective of a 5-star standard.
