Hampton Inn and Suites San Juan

I've stayed at this hotel about 4 times in last 5 years. It's my go-to place. Right in the middle of San Juan, about 5 minutes from the airport. Awsome staff. Great Continental Breakfast, Attentive Pool bar staff with great Meals to keep you going till dinner time. From 5pm to 7 pm is happy hour with free beverages & snacks. My only even better would be the cleanlyness in the pool area... especially when happy hour. Besides this little hiccup I'll be comming back for sure.

My stay was good from start to finish. The check-in process went well, and the staff was pleasant. The only thing that threw me off was the amount I was told I needed to pay when I made my reservation, which was different from the amount I had to pay when I actually arrived. In any case, the hotel was clean and had great amenities. The pool was nice. I wish it had a place to rinse, but aside from that, it was clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious with its many options, and the happy hour made me happy.

It was close to the airport close to the beach and eating places clean and nice rooms.

The staff were very friendly and inviting! Loved that they had vouchers for chair and umbrellas on the beach! Happy hour with free drinks was awesome, the pool was nice as well as the rooms ! I would definitely stay again !

Ok really wanted to give a 3 star but some of the employees were awesome while others not now the amenities the hotel offers are great breakfast in the morning was great food at the pool was awesome as well now I had a few issues with being over charged on a few things and also my room having some issues in which I had to have it switched that process was meh but we made it work I can go into details but this is long enough if they work on a few things this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in ps the beds suck and are horrible need a nice long massage from them lol Thanks Hamptons

The rooms are ok, you end up hearing all the planes since it is next to the airport but the walls muffle it inside thr hotel. Next to plenty of food spots and within walking distance of the beach. Good customer service.

Property was ok with adequate parking but it will cost you $16 per day. Nice size pool and jacuzzi but they do closes at 9pm. My suite was a nice size with two double beds and a pullout couch, great for a family with kids. Breakfast was standard and no onsite restaurants. Washroom and gym was pretty standard as well. Overall cleanliness was ok just had a few issues with my bed linen when I checked in but it was resolved by housekeeping.

The property was clean and well-maintained, consistent with what I’ve come to expect from Hilton. The rooms were tidy and thoughtfully presented. However, I found the parking lot process unnecessarily complex when entering and exiting. The most concerning issue was the lack of warmth or customer service from the front desk staff—particularly in contrast to how warmly they interacted with other guests. As a Hispanic traveler, I observed a noticeable difference in tone and engagement compared to how they treated mainland American guests. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed and less welcomed. In previous stays—often booked directly with Hilton and using my professional title—I received a higher level of courtesy and accommodation. This time, booking through Expedia, the energy shifted. For instance, my request for a late checkout was declined early in the day, yet while I waited in the lobby, I observed multiple other guests receiving late checkouts with ease. Recommendations for Improvement: Encourage staff training in cultural humility and unconscious bias to ensure all guests feel equally valued. Reinforce consistency in guest services regardless of booking platform or perceived background. Promote small, friendly gestures (e.g., eye contact, warm greetings) to enhance inclusivity and reduce implicit favoritism. A little more consistency in kindness can go a long way in maintaining Hilton’s reputation for excellence.
