Check in was quick. Staff were all helpful during my stay. Great that they have a coffee machine at the lobby - complimentary nescafe any time of the day! Room was basic, as expected. No complains. Nice rooftop (smoking corner) to chill in the day.

Lets start with the good stuff. This hotel is situated within easy walking distance from Clark Quay and the great Singapore nightlife and it is pretty good value for money if you are a young person who just wants a crash for the night. The staff when they are there (see later) are helpful and the hotel is very clean. However I don't like being deceived and the photographs are VERY deceptive. The rooms have no windows and are more like ships cabins with the bed hard against 2 walls. The bed is over a metre from the floor so if you are older like me it isn't easy to get in. The room is tiny with only a narrow strip of floor down one side of the bed, no chair or anywhere to put one and a tiny stool. The only flat surface is already half used by the coffee machine so cramped doesn't begin to describe things. The bathroom is equally small only 2m square with a corner access shower. You don't need a soap dispenser next the sink as you can reach the one in the shower from the sink. I don't appreciate elbowing glass or physical walls while trying to dry myself. The safe in my room AND my daughter's room didn't work. Being fair the staff called a repair man who replaced it as it was irreparable. The worst thing is the staff are only there 10am to 7pm and the front door is locked at all times. Multiple times I had to let in late arriving guests who were stuck outside. Overall I did not enjoy my stay, would not stay there again and would only recommend this for those wanting a bed crash

Room way too small. Plus no windows. I have never been in a hotel where there was no windows in your room it is too strange and anoying for me. I been in small spaces but wow this is really small and uncomfortable for 2 people. You have to open suitcases on the bed.. and put them under the bed. Then climb 2 stairs to get into bed., like a bunk bed. NEVER AGAIN.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I took a red eye flight and arrived at the hotel quite early. Winson received me, filled out the necessary paperwork, and then was able to check me in! This was before noon! I was fine with just leaving my luggage, but he was able to give me a decent room. I Everything worked in the room, you just have to turn on all the switches ancommpanying the plug. So if you want to turn on the TV, you have to look behind the TV to turn on the switch, etc. Winson also recommended various food options, and things to do. I stayed two nights and I was able to walk and mrt to all the major points I wanted to visit. He also lent me an umbrella after digging around a bit, so very much appreciated. The only draw back is breakfast is in another location 2 blocks away. Great customer service and stay. Thanks!

The staff were good the room was clean and comfortable however we were there for 3 nights and did not have any housekeeping. We had to ask for clean towels. The bin was not emptied and no top up of tea of coffee. So not a good service.

The room is a bit worn down and could use a bit of maintenance. The shelf was going to off the wall, the hinges to the fridge were loose the drain in the washroom was draining slowly. There was only one trash can in the washroom and could use more. The room was otherwise covered all the basics and was reasonablely clean. The room was compact but well thought out. Luggage can be stored underneath the bed. There is no closet. The concierge is only available from 10am to 7pm.
