Holiday Inn Express BILBAO by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Very nice facility with excellent service at front desk. The airport shuttle is very convenient and had no trouble making a 7AM departure. The breakfast is super and starts at 5Am. This is an ideal hotel to use if you have an early flight the next morning or are arriving late to Bilbao Airport. It is not close to central Bilbao.

The shower we had just had curtains around it so small and when you shower the whole bathroom floor gets flooded, we had to use so many towels on the floor to catch the water! Awful! Bed sheets are so uncomfortable and not smelling fresh.

Great location by the airport

We were at shuttle area between 22:45 and 22:50 and waited until 23.15. Contacted hotel and were told it left at 22:45 so we had catch a taxi for 12 euros. Reception and breakfast staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Aufgrund eines undichten Waschbeckens stand dies nicht zur Verfügung. Reparatur war nicht möglich, auch kein Zimmertausch. Für eine Nacht vor dem Heimflug gerade akzeptabel.

Free shuttle to airport from 5am to 11pm. Good breakfast starting at 5am - even they call it an express breakfast between 5am and 6am, it’s impressively good. We stay at two hotels near the airport and Holiday Inn is better in multiple ways (service, breakfast, price, frequency of shuttle).

Room was average size and condition. Was very noisy, could hear activity in next room. Only plus was airport shuttle

Breakfast is below par. Fake eggs, fake juice. Too Americanized it’s terrible

This is a great place to stay if you have a late flight into Bilbao. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport and took our bags in bag check all day while we explored the city. There is also lots of parking if you have a car or rented a car. It's not in a location that is near anything though, so don't expect that and it would have been good to have a pool and a workout room. We could tell there wasn't a pool from the listing but I was just hoping for a workout room since it's a Holiday Inn. The breakfast in the morning was also good. The room we had which had two single beds (ushed together) and a couch bed was pretty crammed to fit all the people with our bags/luggage, which would have been really difficult if we had stayed here a long time. But all in all this was a fine stop for our trip.

Simple and affordable, if you are looking for something really close to airport. THere is also a nice walking path in back of the hotel that leads you past a farm and into a converted rail trail.

Noise pollution. Even with ear plugs & closed windows could here partying until after 2am and i needed to be up at 6

Great location, wonderful staff. Restaurant and breakfast were great! AC wasnt working and tv was missing power cord, so no tv. Otherwise wonderful!

Stayed before our flight out. It’s in a suburban area right near the Bilbao airport. Shuttle was very convenient, breakfast was free and offered plentiful variety. Staff was very friendly. Maybe a $35 euro cab ride into the city if that is in your plans. Would stay again.

First visit good, second, idk what happened, beds were 2 cot type covered boards , hard as rocks , it was however clean and convenient
