Hotel Avenida

We staryed three nights over the weekend. The location is excellent being close to the tourist centre of Zaragooza. The hotel staff were fine, and the room was adequately sized. The problem? Noise. Not the noise from the streets, which we were worried about due to the hotel's location but noise from other rooms - sound insulation is non existent in this hotel. You can hear the person in the next room flicking the light switches and when someone flushes the toilet, it sounds like there is a waterfall just outside your room. When people on the floor above or two floors above comes back to their room, it sounds like a herd of elephants on a stampede. I am not exaggerating - I have stayed in many hotels in Spain during my 12 or so visits to the country in the last six years but this hotel has the worst sound proofing of all the hotels I have stayed in. It probably didn't help that we stayed at the weekend as people were coming back from their nights out at two, three, four AM in the morning which is quite normal in large Spanish cities. It was relatively quieter on Sunday night.

This may not be a concern for everyone, but coming from a cooler climate, an air conditioned room for sleeping is highly desired. The air conditioning in our room was barely detectable. The rooms were quite spartan and a little disappointing considering what the room shown when we booked looked like, but the hotel has minimalist decor and we were just there to sleep and shower. Location was convenient and rooms were quiet and clean. Breakfast was nice.

The Avenida has a lovely decor with quiet spaces for relaxing located throughout the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice which allowed a relaxed start to the day

The hotel has a unique and lovely character, it feels old worldy, like the old town of Zaragoza. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The property is in town center, but if you have a car the access is difficult, there are works on the area, and some streets are closed. We lost a lot of time to get the hotel and parking.

This was a great stay. The staff were excellent and helped us when I had made a mistake with a booking - thank you!. A really good location, great staff and the breakfast was also very good. Definitely recommended.

Boutique hotel, relaxing and spacious guest lounge on ground floor where you can chill out and relax. Continental breakfast was nice in a seperate dining area. Value for money. Location great!

The hotel was good and had a good location. The room was ok and good size. The beds were not that comfortable.

The parking is public parking with chargers for EVs.

Location at edge of old town. Easy walk to old town square , cathedral and museums. Short bus ride from train station. Room in good condition, but sound proofing can be improved.

Hotel Avenida is centrally located, just a stone throw from the Central Market and the Cathedral. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but the walkway along the rooms makes a lot of noise when guests walk over them. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of items to choose from. The only problem is front reception staff do not speak a word of English which can be pretty challenging for non-Spanish speaking tourists
