Aloft Tulsa

First time staying at an Aloft, we expected better. First off, we weren’t told the room phones weren’t working. We tried to call down to the front desk and it was not operating. We were told after I brought it up that the phones were in the process of being upgraded or something. Secondly, they didn’t have enough towels for the second guest. We just needed a large body towel, but was told that they didn’t have enough available. As for the reason, we don’t know, because the guy pretty much froze and couldn’t tell us why. Meanwhile, a couple of other guest had came down to the lobby requesting another room because theirs was still dirty. Third, bathroom space wasn’t great or functional. It serves as like a mini kitchen/bathroom. But also, the shower just isn’t sealed properly. So water gets out into the floors easily and you’re left with a puddle when you’re out. Then, you have to use towels to soak that up but then have to use it wisely because you were told they don’t have enough.

Front desk girls were great! The young man wasn’t very friendly who works in the afternoons. Seems preoccupied with headphones and annoyed when you needed something. The pregnant bar tender was hilarious and a joy to talk to. We didn’t go on other nights. Room was only cleaned upon request which was totally fine. The only down fall to us personally was that there weren’t any drawers in the room to unpack. But we were also there for 10 days but not the end of the world and definitely wouldn’t stop us from coming back. There was a breakfast bar, nothing over $6. We didn’t utilize it but we aren’t breakfast people. There’s a washer and dryer on the 5th floor. Clothing smelled and appeared to be washed well. Pool and hot tub closed for the season still (expected that). Small gym. Nice lay out of the hotel.

Clean and quiet

The hotel was nice, good location and allowed dogs. The TV did not have an audio out jack which I needed for my hearing aids.

My shower was cold and I will never stay in a room that has cold water I demanded a change for my money. And they satisfied me with a new room. Much appreciated

Love how modern & clean

Staff all very nice, decor was fun, rooms were more decor than a typical Marriott which was a nice change of scene.

First, our room had a cracked sliding glass door, that is not safe. If I hadnt seen it before pulling the sliding door, something bad could of happen. Then, there was no hand soap anywhere and maybe 4 towels. We walk into the room at 9:30 pm and the heater was on set to 76. Is was very hard to fall asleep.

The property is a little ran down. My key card pad on the door was broken with no cover. The light in the bathroom vanity didn't work, had to do my makeup with my phone next to the window because there is no other lighting. The AC unit was rattly and was very loud.
