We loved our experience in this hotel. The breakfast is very good and the lobby always have coffee, tea, water magazines and hot chocolate available. The hotel is clean and beatiful cabin style. The room has plenty of space with the exception of the bathroom. I had a good time in the pool and jacuzzi while the guests are exploring the areas. The resraurants options around the area are limited. The only restaurant close is a little bit expensive. You need to drive to Lutsen or Silver Bay for more options. The only cons is that is impossible to use the jacuzzi, sauna or pool after 6 pm, its very crowd with multiple kids. Its better to use in the morning and noon. The hotel have a nice area in the front to see partial view of the Lake superior. The bed was very comfortable. Its a gas station in the side, convinience for every needs. I would love to repeat the experience. We love to explore the surroundings cascade park etc.

It’s was nice and clean when we arrived. One king size bed and two full size bedrooms with a couch that turns in a bed. The couch and chair in the living room is new. we stayed 3 nights and because we stayed 3 night they don’t clean your room daily so we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. And Bring the toilet down and get replacement.

We were pleased with the quiet setting and clean room. We are older and desired a 1st floor room, but were only able to get a 2nd floor accommodation. There is no elevator, so lugging things up and down stairs is a challenge.

Property is very nice. Only thing I didn’t like was no elevator. Staff was obliging and found me a room on the first floor but anyone with mobility issues should request ground floor when booking. Tofte is a pretty small place so was happy to have an affordable option instead of the more expensive resort areas.

The staff friendly, professional and always willing to help. They are terrific. The breakfast is typical breads, yogurt, cereal, fruit, eggs, and a meat. The foods are refilled as needed. The location is good for hiking the various parks of the North Shore. Dining options are limited in the immediate area. We have stayed here in the past and will again in the future.

I really enjoyed all the little seating areas that we could use to sit and enjoy a game, or a cup of coffee outside the room. Everyone was so nice, and I loved that the continental breakfast had oatmeal!
