I loved all of the tropical gardens as well as being able to step outside and walk for miles along the beautiful shoreli

There was no lei making class or hula class as described. The tiki bar was closed the entire time I was there. The DVD service wasn’t working for the first few days, then when it was available, the dvd player in my room was never set up. There were no activities available on site- the front desk personnel never seemed to know when the activities would be offered.

There were poor conditions in the Aston. Every room we were moved to had something broken that did not work. When we called to let them know, maintenance never showed up in a 24 hour period.

It has everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Property deserves more stars but Unit 256 caused the lower rating! Great view, great location but the rusty hole in the tub and the rusted a/c unit (which you had to sit next to to see the view) and the nonchalant “could care less” staff took stars away. Would we stay again - definitely!

Fun 3 night stay.

The location is convenient. The grounds are immaculately kept. The gardeners do AMAZING work. I like the native plants and the kalo patch. The reception area is nice(needs a ramp for luggage), but was closed during my stay. The pool bar was also under renovation during my stay. The pool is nice, but really for soaking and not for swimming or exercise. Nice grills nearby for guests staying as a timeshare. The ocean, although a selling point noted for snorkeling, was too rough for that. Chairs are set out so you can watch the sunset and the waves. None of the above was really that disappointing. The only two disappointments, for the price of the stay, is there is a bit of wear and tear on the rooms(fixtures scuffed, fan over toilet REALLY loud, bath tub plug malfunctioning, TV cable didn't work(and the wiring and cables behind the TV was a rat's nest). But the biggest problem BY FAR was the 5am rooster who EVERY DAY crowed about 10-15 times at 5am and then same again at 6am. I get that there is a chicken problem just like back home on Oahu, but at $325/night those roosters need resettling. A nice stay, but a little disappointing at the price point. From a kamaʻāina perspective.

I loved the location, it was great! The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. Rooms are a bit outdated but the location is awesome, it is conveniently located right next to the shopping and restaurants plaza and is right next to the beach. I enjoyed the visit overal!

Staff was not accommodating, pool & bar were under construction. Extremely inadequate amenities, yet was advertised as a "resort".

This is our 4th time staying here, and we really enjoy it!

Great location… staff was not very friendly! Room was clean, hot tub was nice , close walking to shops and food… I recommend staying here ! Traveling solo And I felt safe

Beautiful stay. Value for money.

There 11 days only cleaned the room once. Bed was old could feel the springs, not comfortable.

Staff here are very friendly. It is very convenient that there are lots of dining options around the resort.

Relaxing affordable vacay

The property is beautiful. The beach is small and Rocky. Big rocks in water even with water shoes is tough to keep your balance. HOWEVER, what I found deeply concerning was I checked out of the hotel at the front desk. I paid by credit card. Over a Month and a half After checking out of hotel, another charge from hotel for $254.00 appeared on my credit card! When I called Customer service they said it was because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) and Expedia didn't pay them so they charged the credit card on file. This is FRAUD!!! Hotels have I believe 7 days to charge a credit card for incidentals. Just because they have card on file does not mean they can charge it without permission months later! I did get reimbursed but I wonder how many other people this has happened to that didn't notice the charge.
