We liked ocean view proximity to ocean The grounds were well maintained & beautiful. Located close to museum, shopping & restsurants. Chickens were entertaining & awakened very early.

Great stay. Had a ground floor room with sliding door and small patio that opened to courtyard adjacent to the pool. Loved the quick and easy access to nm pool and beach. They have laundry facilities for hotel guests. But if you book a room through vacasa you can cause the laundry room Bonus. There is a shopping center with restaurants and small grocery story within 200 yards of the hotel. No food on site, so be ready to walk a minute to the nearby options.

Beautiful overnight stay after flying in to Lihue and waiting to travel to the south shore the next day. Staff was friendly, beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable room, loved the proximity to things.

I wish the beach was cleaner, there seemed to be a lot of trash in the bushes, not just washed up, but trash that people left behind. Maybe offer trash bags, have people fill them and give them a free cocktail, movie, or shaved ice. A little incentive for them to take pride in the beach.

We did not get the room we requested with 2 double beds. Nor were they able to hold our bags after checkout.

This is a really nice place to stay. This was our second time staying here.The pool is nice, and there is convenient laundry. It has beautiful views of the ocean. The staff is helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are adequate and clean. I didn't like that my "partial ocean view" was literally a sliver of a view of the ocean above trees that blocked everything - the view was maybe about the size of my pinky held horizontally with my arm fully outstretched. Very disappointing and we paid more for it. Also, the bar at the pool was closed and had been closed for some time and was closed for our entire stay. We were not aware of this until we came, and the bar was a big selling point for us to book here again. It was not the same without it.

Definitely will return! We got a ground level room right by the pool. Kiddos walk out and straight into the pool, we had an amazing time!

I loved all of the tropical gardens as well as being able to step outside and walk for miles along the beautiful shoreli

There was no lei making class or hula class as described. The tiki bar was closed the entire time I was there. The DVD service wasn’t working for the first few days, then when it was available, the dvd player in my room was never set up. There were no activities available on site- the front desk personnel never seemed to know when the activities would be offered.

There were poor conditions in the Aston. Every room we were moved to had something broken that did not work. When we called to let them know, maintenance never showed up in a 24 hour period.

It has everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Property deserves more stars but Unit 256 caused the lower rating! Great view, great location but the rusty hole in the tub and the rusted a/c unit (which you had to sit next to to see the view) and the nonchalant “could care less” staff took stars away. Would we stay again - definitely!

Fun 3 night stay.

The location is convenient. The grounds are immaculately kept. The gardeners do AMAZING work. I like the native plants and the kalo patch. The reception area is nice(needs a ramp for luggage), but was closed during my stay. The pool bar was also under renovation during my stay. The pool is nice, but really for soaking and not for swimming or exercise. Nice grills nearby for guests staying as a timeshare. The ocean, although a selling point noted for snorkeling, was too rough for that. Chairs are set out so you can watch the sunset and the waves. None of the above was really that disappointing. The only two disappointments, for the price of the stay, is there is a bit of wear and tear on the rooms(fixtures scuffed, fan over toilet REALLY loud, bath tub plug malfunctioning, TV cable didn't work(and the wiring and cables behind the TV was a rat's nest). But the biggest problem BY FAR was the 5am rooster who EVERY DAY crowed about 10-15 times at 5am and then same again at 6am. I get that there is a chicken problem just like back home on Oahu, but at $325/night those roosters need resettling. A nice stay, but a little disappointing at the price point. From a kamaʻāina perspective.

I loved the location, it was great! The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. Rooms are a bit outdated but the location is awesome, it is conveniently located right next to the shopping and restaurants plaza and is right next to the beach. I enjoyed the visit overal!
