Best Western Airport Inn

Room was extremely hot. AC was not turned on to cool down the room. Waffle was sour. Water was left in the bathtub

I wanted to start off by saying you get what you pay for, but that wouldn’t be accurate in my case. I booked a King room at a discounted rate through Expedia and once I arrived at the property (at 4:00pm), I was told they were sold out of King rooms. I just stared at the front desk clerk because there was only one other car in the parking lot. He must have sensed from my expression that I was not pleased so he tried to tell me he would upgrade me to a double queen room. I guess he thought I was stupid because the double queen room has a nightly rate of about $20 less than what I was paying. I wasn’t going to argue and we were only staying for one night. I assume he thought he could sell that King room at the full rate and make a little extra off me by charging me more than the room he put me in was worth. That was strike one. The indoor heated pool was cold. There were no towels. Strike two. But what actually pushed me over the edge is that the cover on the air conditioning unit FELL OFF THE WALL at 3:00 am. Scaring both my husband and I awake. When I mentioned this to the front desk the next morning there was no “sorry for the inconvenience” just “no problem we’ll put it back” which tells me that isn’t the first time it’s happened. There are many other hotels in the area. I relied on the primarily positive reviews when deciding to book. I hope that others won’t make the same mistake I did.

Overall I would give this property a 5/10. The room smelled like paint. No working elevator. The rooms were half updated. Construction material left all over parking lot area. Dirty food particals were on the sofa in the room. And stain on comforter. Shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed.

It is outdated. Many improvements need to be made. Old tvs, old pool, too small pool towels, hardly any outlets, no usb ports, old couch, basically not the worst but not good either.

The property was good, but needed some updates. Area was OK. Breakfast was mediocre.

Clean, comfortable bedding. Good complementary breakfast! Love using the ice machine. Staff was friendly and nice. Wish they had a laundry room for guests to use, esp when people stay there for 3 nights or more. Other than that, it was wonderful!

The room had a strong dank odor the couch was completely worn out you sat in it and literally sank almost to the floor they had tried to put some type of covering over the cushions but it wasn't enough and the tile in the bathroom was put in by a blind monkey with a caulk gun it was the worst repair job I've ever seen

Our room was fine and seemed clean. Breakfast was decent. The rest of the hotel felt run down and out dated. The walls and cement surrounding the pool were covered in algae. Overall it was not a bad stay, however I was expecting more based on how many stars this hotel had

It was the worst. They even tried to enter our room at 3am stating they were doing a cable tv adjustment. Terrible

Casey M., at the front desk is a jewel! Our first room had a bed that felt like it sloped into the middle, after team members tired to fix the slats, Casey quickly gave us another room! Thanks Casey! Also, highly recommend walking to the Rock River behind the hotel to the Harold park area, very pleasant to sit on the swing & watch the river roll by. We will be back!

Liked the low price, yet it was clean and breakfast was good.

Our room was okay, there was mold on the shower curtain, all over the ac. our fridge was warm, we brought food that needed to be cold and they said nothing could be done because their manager wasn't in. we also asked for a do not disturb sign which they said they didn’t have any. when we found one they took it off of our door. we asked for our room to not be cleaned twice, we came back from a wedding and we had new towels and our trash was replaced. its a fine place to stay if you arent bringing food and dont care about someone going into your room when you aren’t there.

Our room was nice and quiet. Outside and entry to hotel could use some updating, lot has lighting but parking area needs repairs and potholes filled. Looks like they have construction materials onsite, so we expect big improvements before our next visit!

The carpet and room has a musty smell.
