We were in town for a wedding and this location worked best for us. We really liked the suite layout, with a door on the bedroom and a pull out couch in the other room. It wasn't fancy, but perfectly acceptable. Some minor cosmetic issues like cracked paint high on a wall in the bedroom. Some of it is dated. The breakfast is cooked to order but not how I expected. You go to the counter with your ticket and choose from three options - eggs with potatoes, or pancakes, or French toast - and choice of sausage or bacon with each (pretty sure those were the three) then they call your number and you pick it up. Hubby and I split eggs/potatoes and French toast each morning and it was plenty. There's also pastries, oatmeal, bagels/bread with a toaster, cereal, milk, juices, coffee, yogurts - something for everyone!

The outer room of the suite smelled musty. Luckily I was alone, so I just didn’t spend time there. Facilities are aging, although there appears to be efforts to renovate. Having a cook for breakfast is cool! But the coffee is terrible and there’s not much else available. The area is walkable, but the immediate surroundings are depressing.

Very spacious room! Although outdated, it was very clean. The breakfast was not great and not a full buffet style- you get one entree per person for main dishes which is a little weird for that type of breakfast.

Our room was not ready when we checked in at 3:35 pm but we just had to wait about 20 minutes for staff to finish cleaning the room. The desk chair seat was damp; apparently the previous renter must have spilled something on the seat. The hotel is large and a bit older. Breakfast was great; made to order eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, pancakes and French toast.

I had a great experience at the Best Western West Towne Suites in Madison. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff stood out with their warm, friendly, and consistently helpful service. It really set the tone for the whole stay.
The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day of travel. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the little touches that made the space feel inviting.
One of the best surprises was the made-to-order breakfast. It was a real treat to have a hot, customized meal each morning, in addition to the usual continental options. A great way to start the day!
I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Madison area—whether for business or leisure. Great value, great staff, and a great stay!
