Superb customer service. Property is amazing. Rooms are all upgraded and VERY nice. Breakfast was excellent. Pool and spa facilities arw wonderful!

Very nice 2 room suite facing Grand Traverse Bay. Small kitchenette area stocked with basic supplies. Large comfortable bed. TVs in bedroom and living room with very good channel lineup.. Nice bathroom with large shower. Everything was spotless. Convenient breakfast and on site parking. Excellent information booklet provided for city and surrounding area maps and details.

Comfy bed. Stove wasn’t working. And the tv wasn’t working with cable or allowing a fire stick to be used.

It was a good getaway, with a great tub for the cold.

All around great place to stay. Nice rooms, good staff, breakfast is solid. Winter season pricing is great. Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

The room was clean, smelled clean (no hint of a past smoker which I detest), up to date decor, and a comfortable! bed. I didn’t use it this trip, but the pool looked to be quite popular and the guests were having fun. The common areas near the lobby appeared to be well maintained with a large table that could be used for dining in one (there was a group have a feast of delivered pizza when I arrived), a lounging area for a conversation or a comfortable seat to wait for transportation, and a nice room for the included breakfast. I noticed that pancakes were being made on a griddle rather than taken out of a box, I appreciated the effort and they were tasty. Coffee in the lobby was decent, I didn't try the coffee maker in the room.

I used Expedia to book my stay at the Cherry Tree Inn & Suites in Traverse City, MI. I made the reservation for 6 people. We drove 4 hours to stay at this hotel. When we arrived we were put into a room with 2 Queen Beds. When I brought this up to the front desk, I was informed that my room actually was to sleep 4 with a MAX of 5 if we paid for a rollout bed. I told her that this was a mathematical impossibility as I made the reservation for 6 people and arrived with my 6 people. She then took a minute to compute what I had said and brought out another person who was able to move our group of 6 to a room that could accommodate and still stay compliant to the fire code. It was a room with 1 King Bed and a Pull Out Sofa. Still cant sleep 6. So they provided 2 roll out beds and then proceeded to tell me that there is a charge for the roll out beds but that they will be waiving them due to the inconvenience. Everything was fine until checkout when I saw on my receipt that I was being charged! Then they proceeded to tell me that there was nothing that they could do since the manager had just left and to call back on Monday. Now I cant get through to anyone. I would NOT recommend staying here just based on this service alone. There are plenty of other options in Traverse City that I would consider before ever staying here again.

Breakfast was almost unbearable. They brought in a chef but the food was below average.

We had a fantastic stay! Everyone was very kind and accommodating, the breakfast was wonderful, and we had a lovely time.
