Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential

Staff was great but the property itself was in shambles. Room smelt like mold and the carpet was damp in my room. Towels in the bathroom felt like sandpaper.

No complaints from me.

I was on the 8th floor and the AC did not keep my room cold. And the breakfast was not good. They didn't have a waffle maker and they ran outta biscuits, the cereal was poured out all over the counter and didn't have much else to offer.

I stayed for two nights on this trip and stayed in a room with a King bed. The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows were large and excellent and I really liked that the restroom was spacious. The lobby area was also really nice and the pizza we ordered from the bar was delicious! Staff was also very nice! What I did not like was that breakfast both mornings was identical, there was no variety. I also really disliked the parking area. It was secluded and felt unsafe. We had homeless individuals approaching us for money. I feel that if it is going to be sectioned off and secluded like it is, then there needs to be a security guard out there. The location where the hotel is located is a little scary being that there is a lot of vandalism in the back area.

Sherell and lashes were both very sweet and made our chick-in and check-out very easy. We had to park our U-Haul with attached tow/car out by the main road next to the hotel and were okay! Someone on another review said the area was sketchy, I didnt think it was. The hotel is on the other side of the highway opposite from downtown and next to warehouses, and that’s why it felt a bit distant from the city but overall safe and okay!

I’ve tried to do this since the horrible night we almost stayed here! On the road with my children and my Husband headed to a family reunion. Checked into this hotel and it was a NIGHTMARE! The room smelled horrible, it was filthy and there were bugs dead and alive. They offered to move us to a different room and when we got there the DOOR WAS OPEN AND PEOPLE WERE IN THE ROOM!! On the way there we saw a plunger in the hallway… Overall DISGUSTING! Had to leave and HAD NO WHERE TO GO!! Drove for hours to a town whose name I don’t remember and stayed at a Days Inn… MUCH BETTER! But it was 5:00 in the morning by the time we arrived and latest check out was 12:00. As I said with my Husband who is still working from the road and my children… HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! This was by far MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH Hotels.com! They need to verify these ratings because this place had an 8.8 out of 10!! HOW???!!! More like a 0.8! I actually forgot or blocked it from my mind until I saw the pictures again! Black mold in the room AND HUMAN feces in the parking garage! My HUSBAND MADE me take a picture of it!! DISGUSTING!

I like the friendly staff. Followed up well to see if I needed anything. The pizza place was also top notch with the food, service, and even room delivery. If I go back there, that is the place I would choose again.

Cleanliness and friendly staff

After a bad experience at another hotel Comfort in was like a breath of fresh air. It was nice, safe, clean and comfortable bed. They also had a descent breakfast.

The first room we were in was smelled horrible but they put us in another room. I would suggest they deep clean the couches and rugs. The couches is cloth so they need to clean them better. They did accommodate us and apologized for the first room.

This hotel is excellent. Clean, good staff, quiet and safe. The only issue we had was the air conditioning unit didn’t work, but we also didn’t ask to switch rooms. So that was our own issue.

Very nice place, staff was very helpful and friendly.

I was disappointed with my stay, especially given the price I paid. The shower in my room wouldn’t drain properly. The floor I was on, as well as the area near the desk, had a strong smell of marijuana, and my room itself smelled like smoke. The constant sound of sirens from the nearby highway throughout the night certainly didn’t help, although I understand that’s beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, I felt the experience didn’t match the cost, and I think it’s worth sharing so others have a realistic idea of what to expect.
