Hotel was clean but I wasn’t aware I had to request to have my room cleaned; the staff was very kind

Our door was falling off its hinges. Lobby furniture was torn. Overall property was not maintained. Transients flowed in and out of the property eating breakfast and swimming in the pool. We checkout out a day early, even though it meant losing money because we did not want to stay another night. Young man who checked us in was polite.

Property was not maintained, inside nor outside. Smoke detector hang from ceiling by wires, badly stained carpet, broken toilet tank lid, missing sink plug, chairs in breakfast area delaminating, exterior overgrown. Breakfast ran out of items and not re-folled in a timely manner. Desk staff were pleasant

It was a horrible stay.

Made reservation and paid for the room 5 hours before arrival. Upon arrival I was told they didn’t have a room and made little to no effort to accommodate me. Another staff member arrived and found a room for me and was very nice about it.

The stay was fine for a one nighter. I must say I was surprised that by 8 a.m. there were no more scrambled eggs! I also didn’t see any hot water for the instant oatmeal. Rest of breakfast was fine.

Would not give extra pillows. Never heard of that before

We stayed here during ULM PREP instead of the dorms. Definitely not clean. Pool was unkept. Breakfast was burned. Ac was cold and the room was a nice size

The smoke detector was beeping when we got to our room. We went to the front desk to ask them to change out the batteries and they said they didn't have any and we would have to move rooms. We had already settled in and had kids with us, so moving was not an option. We had to disconnect the smoke detector. The remote also needed batteries, but we didn't even bother to ask so we could not even relax and watch some TV. The bathroom sink did not drain and had black stuff that would come up out of the drain when the water was turned on.

Decided to give this place another try but it still has the same issue with terrible and rude staff. This is especially with checking into the room that evening it seems as though he doesn’t really care about his job? The issue was his attitude once we got there and he did the same thing to another guest! He would not give us clean sheets for the pullout couch, we did ask if they were clean? His response was I don’t know. We also asked for extra towels and he would not give us the extra towels. We’ve stayed at other comfort suites and never had an issue like this hotel. So this is my experience at this hotel and I don’t think I’ll bother with this place again.

Over all the stay was good. The person who checked us in was a little less than excited that we were there. I had requested no feather pillows or comforters due to an allergy to feathers. Pretty sure they thought I had an allergy to feather pillows and comforters as two separate things because they said “all hotels will have those”. I checked the room and both were polyester, so we were good, but they never checked which is a concern.

When we got to our room it had a bad mildew smell. It was clean though. The pillows nor the beds were comfortable. Everyone was very nice there though.

Maye was a delight to work with at the front desk.

First room had no air condition Second room had mold around tub,carpet was not clean ,air was working. main part of was not cool Looked like this locate needs some up dating

Terrible. Staff was rude and unhelpful. GM was not much better. We encountered bugs in room, no breakfast food, dirty room, broken items in room and no shower curtain. Front desk clerk obviously didn’t want to help and we weren’t moved from room, couldn’t leave hotel, no where else to go for the night in town. Breakfast attendant told us not to ask if more food would be added. Manager said she’d refund us for the stay and nothing has happened with that. Do NOT stay here.

Front desk was helpful and clean towels restocked, only complaint that both traahcans were full and never emptied

Shower water stunk. Sofa bed looked like the cover and blankets weren’t washed in months. The staff were very friendly. Supposedly this is considered a bad part of town, but we had no issues. The breakfast bar was out of coffee and orange juice. The food was very good!

Old .. not necessarily dirty but definitely worn out. Broken toilet seat, ripped up chairs, bathroom fans not working, cards had to be re-keyed every day, apparently cannot give extra blankets and/or pillows, pool seemed to be a popular pot smoking hang out for people not staying at hotel, etc, etc. Would not stay again.

In a run down area and not by airport.
