Enjoyed the walking area around the hotel. Easy access to train. Lots of shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance.

Staff was friendly. Overall, great value for the location and price. Would be nice to have coffeemaker in room, but they do offer complimentary coffee on first floor. The building is good overall, it's clear it's an older building-however, all modern conveniences. I'd stay here again.

Quick business trip, this is an older property but has been updated, very clean and good size room. Staff was very friendly and was able to get us checked in early. Location was perfect as well. I would suggest management adding a fan in the bathroom, but other than that it was wonderful. Definitely would stay here again!

Quaint, historical landmark property with a lot of character. However, only one elevator operational. And that one was working at snail’s pace, when it would finally come to your floor (either lobby or floor of room). Coffee machine was nice but tucked away a bit from the lobby area. Unfortunately, we had to move rooms at the midpoint of our stay and were offered no assistance or comp for the hassle. Hence the aforementioned elevator unrealistic notion to use the stairs for multiple luggage pieces plus extra loose items already hung up or unpacked. This change was due to a plumbing leak that also affected another room in the same vicinity. Apology noted and appreciated! Although— being told that due to the Expedia reservation— they were unable to adjust or modify the room rate to accommodate the inconveniences was a tad disappointing.

A pretty ok place to stay. Rooms were quiet and bed was comfortable. Everything was clean.
The elevator is super slow tho. Taking the stairs is much faster.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Valet was great. Room was good and clean. It was a bit noisy (at three a.m.) Perfect location for the conference I was attending. Good value for the price.

I liked that check in was a breeze and I was able to use another card other than what I booked for the fee. I also liked the unlimited tea and coffee option. It felt very cozy and at home. Cleaning staff was prompt and thoughtful!
I didn't like how the TV stopped functioning and it took time right at checkout to figure it out. I wish there was a free breakfast option and ability to pick which floor you'd like to stay on. The heat was nice but shut off and on through out which I assumed was for safety. The soap shampoo and conditioner bottles did not work but was not bothersome.

I love this hotel as you can open the windows however the bath tub tap wasn’t working and the rooms are just so dark - improved lighting is required perhaps with some LEDs just to make getting ready at night a bit easier. Solid location and a comfy stay though.

It has a cute charm to it overall. Check in and out was smooth. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are oddly shaped. The elevator was extremely slow and would sometimes not recognize the floor and go back down. I prefer this to the larger hotels across the street because it is quiet.

Arrived from Atlanta to stay overnight before driving back with my stuff in storage.
It was a Friday night, and walking into the concierge desk, it sounded like there was a very loud club the next day, and I was wondering about my stay. But the check-in experience was smooth, and my room on the 6th floor was absolutely quiet.

The location is terrific and the room was impeccably clean. This is a new frills hotel which we appreciate because there are fewer "resort fees." However, one elevator was broken and the other seemed to not work well. We walked to our 6th floor room several times rather than waiting. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Cute old hotel in Copley Square, walking distance to many Boston attractions. Check out Tatte Latte down the block and don’t miss Trinity and Old South churches. Surrounding area was very loud at night so bring ear plugs and figure $45-65/night parking into price if you have a car.
