Sparse. Cheap furniture. No drawers. Thin towels. Small rooms. No place to relax but the bed. Pillows were bricks. No variety to choose from. Not comparable to higher end hotels. If you’re looking for a nice comfortable place look elsewhere. Elevator was broken and other elevator was incredibly slow.
They upgraded us and it was still less than average for a facility. Also no dining.

My check-in experience was horrible. The lady at the front desk made it unnecessarily difficult. She was rude. The room itself was decent and clean. I loved the furniture. I hated the view. The common area for eating/drinking/vending felt like a depressing break room.

I had stayed about 3 weeks ago in a king room. reserved a king studio for a special event with my husband. Room was smaller than the previous room. staff unable to accommodate a change. Very disappointed. There was also a drunk person outside our room at 1 am who was very loud.

Three things about this hotel from someone who’s always staying at hotels ins Boston:
- there was a horrible stomping sound in the ceiling (we were on the 6th floor) all the time we were there. I I woke up so scared in the middle of the night because it sounded like something very heave fell. It was hard to sleep.
-when we called to complain nobody answered the line.
-the heating was too hot and it took all night for the temp to come down five degrees. It was very uncomfortable.
-the TV was not in front of the bed so you would have to rotate and see it in an uncomfortable angle. It also didn’t work, but to be fair we didn’t ask for help on this one.

Not that great of an experience. Touch points such as outlets and light switches were covered in filth, the inside of the bathroom door has brown splatter marks from something gross, the bathroom shower drain was clogged. The floors felt gross on your feet, the trim was very much not finished and a lack of routine maintenance on appearance of baseboard trim and crown moulding as there were scuff marks, dirt, and uneven moulding and trim. If I expect to pay around 200 a night, I expect to pay for something that's more desirable and clean rather than run down feeling. I spoke with the general Manager about these concerns and issues. Hopefully a refund of sorts can be headed my way soon, as well as a redirection in their maintenance/ cleaning staff. I'm not one to leave unhappy reviews, but I as a consumer was genuinely unimpressed especially since this is supposed to be a historical building. You'd think there would be more pride.

It was a safe haven after a canceled flight my room was clean the staff was kind. The hotel was warm and the decor was charming I felt like I was in New England.

This is the third time I have stayed at Copley Square Hotel, and plan on staying there again next year. From the most courteous staff to the comfort of the room, I cannot think of a better place to stay.

Excellent location. Close to subway stop and adjacent to shopping and multiple restaurants. Also next to grocery store. Very quiet at night. Clean comfortable rooms. Older hotel but nicely renovated. Would definitely stay again.
